"we were here for two nights 28. 29 October. the accommodation was above the pubs at the fish street in the heart of the city, so comfortable for everything. there are parking spaces and the guests are provided with the access code. when we were, here we were in the bar, and a worker brought us into our room. there were two possibilities to reach the accommodation, through the pub or through a side entrance, both leading to a narrow staircase. the entrance was quite with the witness under and through the stairs that even a bit grubby. on the way to our room there was a series of creaky floor plates, it is a 400 year old building, so it can be forgiven for a few folding floor plates. our first floor double room overlooked the street and the st. helen’s church. the room has coffee accessories, a TV and free wlan. there was not much space between the bets, could only get out of the bets one to a time. the furniture served their purpose, is the best way to describe it. the beds were comfortable and the beds crisp and clean. the bad, whist functional, it was a bit dated and needed an update. iron and a hair dryer are also available. the cost of the room, will contain everything it was probleme was £135, about £34 per night, was reasonable worth and parking was included. one night we met friends for a drink, down in the pub for pre-dinner drinks, really good pub with friendly staff."

"We’d booked a table for 6 at Impasto, but was later contacted to say that they had accidentally booked our table at Olive Branch I understand they share the same kitchen with Impasto so we’d have Impasto food but served via the Olive Branch. Therefore this review won’t include any comment on the food served here. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We were seated in the cellar, at a table for 6 very close to the door, which was really distracting as people often rushed past in very close proximity to some of us. When taking our food orders, the server then forgot to ask one party member for their order. They didn’t apologise when we pointed this out. I didn’t get the sense that the server was wanting to be there at all, he interacted very minimally with us. It then took 70 minutes from being seated to receiving our food. We received no apology for the wait. They had also made a further mistake with somebody’s order, bringing two of the same sides when only one was requested server had written the side as “Z. product name “, which was misinterpreted by the kitchen staff as “2 produce name “ . We sent this back immediately. Nobody came to ask us how our food was. I could hear other tables around us also complaining about the long wait. It took a further 15mins after sitting with empty plates for them to be taken away. We requested the bill this took another 10mins and we had been overcharged by around £40 £16 of this was an optional 10% service charge, the rest was overcharging for the meal . They had put through all our pizzas as £17 when they should have been £12. They had included the mistake second side . We asked for the service charge to be removed, as the waiting time for food was unacceptable. Again the server did not apologise. It took 3 further bills to get the correct amount. The second bill had redacted the service charge and side, but we remained overcharged for the pizzas. We brought this upstairs to the manager, as by this stage we had been at the premises for 2hours for a 1 course meal and we were now running late for an evening event. The third bill from the manager then charged the correct amount for the pizzas, but added back on the service charge, making it a higher total than the second bill. We again requested the service charge was removed AGAIN, and finally were charged the correct amount. We were stood in the main entrance for a good 10 minutes sorting this out. I understand that The Olive Branch don’t have Impasto food items on their cash register, which complicated things with the bill. I’d say don’t offer the service if you are struggling to this extent."

"I had high hopes for this place as there are lots of superb restaurants in Worcester and the place was quite full. The menu seemed varied and seemed to cater to all tastes. So thumbs up...so far..... I ordered a chicken tikka balti as I wanted flavour, but not mind blowing spice. The curry came in a metal, scratched and in parts, rusty bowl..should have been my first indication that this was not going to be nice, but I overlooked this. The curry consisted of about 4 smallish lumps of chicken and this odd coloured, brown, lukewarm sauce and the bowl was cold to the touch. I however, decided to give it a try. Now other baltis I have had have been full of meat and fresh veg, and lovely dimensions of flavour. This was bland, oily, lukewarm and quite frankly vile. The naan bread was cold, tasteless and again, swimming in grease. Looking at the curries my friends had ordered, some were served in similar beat up looking bowls as mine were, however most were simply dolloped onto plates and looked like the most unappealing school dinner slops that were common in the 1980s. All were cold, bland and looked like no care had been put into the cooking or the presentation. The pint of lager I had ordered was not cold, and I gave seen more fizz in a milkshake than I did in that glass. The only saving grace was it was not expensive. So I guess the old adage is very apt; you do indeed get what you pay for, but I will not be visiting this restaurant again"

"27 August 2021: We reserved a table here for our anniversary and TUTU was lovely, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It 's been a long time since we had a Thai meal as our local Thai restaurant is all the way on the Welsh and England borders so coming here was special as we do love our Thai food and cuisine. The Thai Gallery restaurant has been run by the family for the last 2 decades and it shows, beautifully decorated inside and out and full of Thai art pieces, paintings and wall fabrics designs. We were sat at a cosy corner table and the service was good considering they were starting to get very busy and full. Our drinks were a large glass of the 850 Douro Tinto Portuguese Red wine and a Singha bottle of beer then shortly followed by a pint of the Asahi Japanese craft lager...no real ale but I enjoyed the Asahi. For starters we had the Khoong Tempura prawns #4 and the See Klong Moo Yang spare ribs #8 . Both utterly delicious. For mains it was the Phed Yang Ped Pak duck #31 and the Geang Ped rump of beef Thai red curry #40 ..We ordered a portion of Ba Mi Plao #58 noodles to go with the duck and of course, a portion of the Kao Neaow #62 Thai sticky rice to go with my Thai red curry...such gorgeous flavours and so deliciously tasty! The food was so good and beautifully presented, work of gastronomic art at it 's best...well done chef/s. 10/10. We do recommend the Thai Gallery restaurant and even though it 's not cheap, the food was very good and the staff were great too...especially TUTU. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely anniversary meal and evening. I guess they forgot a celebratory drink or a rose at the table on our anniversary dinner..."
