"Terrible... Popped in for spot of lunch with our one year old, customer service was bad from the start the barmaid appeared to have a bad attitude. After ordering a kids chicken nugget chips and beans and literally 5 min wait the chicken came out pink, the chips under cooked and covered in salt bear in mind was for a 18month year old toddler! I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I wanted a refund, however I left with my family without it as they could clearly do with all the money they can get to clèan the place up. Wouldn't give the food to my dog let alone my toddler! If you want a nice meal avoid this place at all costs!!!! As for the response from the owner I'm guessing you've seen the reviews in the past regarding the attitude of the large ginger girl, seems to me you need to retrain your staff in manners as she was the offender yet again! I've been raised to speak to people how they speak to you, so after the food came out raw which is not below standard its simply unacceptable especially off the children's menu! Of course i changed my attitude to match your staffs, which is why i left so fast as I didnt want to cause a scene as looked like the place was struggling enough..Seems to me you need a new cook and barmaid as both were terrible..and individual menus for the tables would be nice I've never had to walk up to the bar in any place to view the menu? I mean wow!!!! Perhaps it's the owner that's the problem? Bad management equals bad business!"

"If you 're into the whole busy, family beach visit then this place is for you. They 've recently added a Greggs and Co-op around the other side of where the chippy is (behind it). As well as a quaint little cafe on the corner. You can 't miss it, it 's as you drive into the car park, on the right side. There 's a free park for the kids, a nice green for the dogs to run around, with seating placed around the edges and near the long (life guards) building, it 's the one with the taller part of the building towards the seafront. The beach is pretty much always kept clean as well as the hard paved concrete walking area alongside it. You also get a great view out to sea, minus the few wind turbines. Dogs are allowed around the area and there 's even a mobile, self service dog wash to get all that sand off before getting back into the car. There 's plenty of accessible parking too, just as you enter the car park, located right next to the cafe. There are also public toilets located in the 'long building ' on the opposite side of the cafe chippy. As if you 're walking towards the sea. Pretty sure there 's a small charge to use them. The chip shop service is good, but it can get really busy, so be prepared to wait. The food is 'alright '. It 's not the best chippy and the prices just seem to be forever climbing, but it 's okay. If you want cheaper cans bottles of pop, I 'd suggest using the co-op. There 's also an ice cream van that usually parks up near the accessible parking area. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up Thanks for reading, And I hope you enjoy your day there here "
