"The Lieblingsbar ("Favourite Bar") opened about two months ago in the new, central shopping parade in Herrenhäuser Markt. I am already a regular customer. The bar-restaurant is very conveniently sited, with the Herrenhäuser Markt tram stop on Lines 4 and 5 only moments awayThe shops and the town administrative offices are close by, as is the site for the weekly Saturday morning market. The world-famous Herrenhäuser Gärten is two tram stops away and the city centre only a few more. The (rather ugly) Herrenhäuser brewery, which offers tours, is five minutes or so walk away. On-street parking can be difficult to find, but there are a couple of car parks only minutes away (one in front of the Edeka supermarket in Meldaustraße and one behind the adjacent Rossman shop. The venue is extremely modern - being brand-new - and by choice it is modernistic yet quaint. It is also very light as there are huge windows in two sides. There are two main indoor sections, a bar area, with long bar and a number of nicely spaced high tables and chairs, and a restaurant area with standard dining tables. The former also has a low table with easy chairs sited by a window, the latter a similar area but sited by an unusual faux fireplace and shelves of books about making cocktails etc. Both of these areas are furnished with a range of glossy magazines and there are daily newspapers in the entrance lobby. Outside, there are comfortable seats either side of the main entrance, which overlooks Herrenhäuserstraße and the tram stop, including a couple of unusual, cushioned benches made of largely of beer crates, and on the side patio, which overlooks Münterstrasse, there are over a dozen tables with strategically-placed patio umbrellas. The staff are friendly and obliging. The food menu offers a wide range of snacks and in bistro-style meals and, in a recent change, breakfasts are offered on Saturdays and Sundays before midday. The bar has an unusually wide range of beers and whiskies, fortunately including my favourites. However, I have yet to persuade the proprietors to offer Guinness! The Lieblingsbar was recently awarded 7 out of 10 in after a 'mystery customer' visit by a critic from the Hannover's most influential local paper. The opening hours at the time of writing are: Mon – Thu 12:00 – 24:00, Fri 12:00 – 03:00, Sat 10:00 – 03:00 and Sun 10:00 – 23:00. "the “Botticelli” in the hannoveraner sutelstraße is already conveniently located. there is a tram stop close to them, parking in the opposite shopping center or in the sutelstraße (short parking and parking are observed. more the ristorant wants to fit into a German old town: much wood and craft dominate the spaces that are still very angled. Therefore, the “Botticelli” is also very limited to not accessible at all. most rooms and also the toilets are only accessible via numerous ascents and trepples. but despite the lack of Mediterranean elements, the “Botticelli” is very stylish and they feel immediately comfortable and well to relax. the greeting of chef and service was very polite, beautiful, cordial and courteous. the card came fast, the order was quickly picked up and the waiting time for eating moved in the normal frame. for an Italian restaurant, the card is not very large and moves in a somewhat higher price segment (8,50 € 21,50 €, mostly clearly over 10 €. my food (tagliolini al tonno with a beautiful cream for €9.50, while on the huge pasta plate something lost, it made it pappsatt not least because of the powerful sauce. a bit pale, that was eating. I have a little fresh, colorful (salatblatt, tomate, gurke on the teller missing. but that's a high-level cup. the dish was really delicious. before eating was offered an aperitif, according to which a dessert was offered, which I had to give up from contemporary, unfortunately heavy hearts. due to lack of German knowledge of the waiter or because he was still new and uncertain, there were too slight irritations on both sides when you paid, but they could be removed quickly. all in all – the “Botticelli” is a highly recommended Italian restaurant in hannover."

"As an SEA expert, I expected this restaurant in the 4 star condition as in most reviews mentioned. The interior, the inventory, the prices and atmosphere were very impressive and so we expacted also the food. My self ordered glass noodle salat with beef, my family chicken curry dishes. Everything was fine untill the first order were served, my noodle salate. I stired my noodles and started to eat but after a minute the waiter came (not a vietnamese) took it away and strait away served it to another person outside to another costumer...??? a very big surprice as he excused himself: wrongly, it was tofu not chicken... me mentioned. Some second later i got another mail served, which looked absolutely not similar, no garnish greens, herbs and it definately was not my order. Most probably i got the food from others which were also started already. What went wrong with this waiters? My family's dishes where braised chicken with a half can of coconut milch and some beens! That was it! definately just a unknown and untasty mix of some ingredient and not an SEA well known dish. Nobody could finish the food even we were really hungry. It was the most terrible food and sure not expected with the ratings this restaurant had before? What went wrong? When I ask the waiter, who is the chef of this dishes and surely not an vietnamese person! he did not answer and disapperd. After reviewing this unlikely experience, we thought that the owner of the restaurant most probably were not around and therefore everything went wrong."
