"We've lived in the area for several years and have passed Kiplings numerous times, often commenting that we must go and try it. Somehow, we never got around to going until last night. We booked a table for four with my wife's parents. On arrival, we were met with a warm welcome, and it almost felt like seeing an old friend. The place is very clean and I noticed one of the staff members putting some real effort into cleaning a table for the next guests. They seem to take hygiene very seriously. The staff were very friendly and good-humoured and the service was very good. We gave our orders to a very friendly young man and when our starters came it was obvious that they had been freshly cooked, not warmed up as you find in some places. We were all very happy with the starters we had, they were flavourful and very well presented. The main dishes were also freshly cooked from the pan and again we all enjoyed them very much. There was no excess oil, as I have found in many other Asian restaurants, and it was cooked to perfection. We all found room for dessert and they too were very well received. I can say without reservation that we will be returning frequently to Kiplings. I genuinely wish we'd gone years ago, I really feel like we've been missing out all this time."
