"Waren diese Woche für 4 Tage mit der Familie im idyllisch gelegenen Pottenstein campen. Leider zeigte sich schon bei der Anreise, dass die Besitzer äußerst unfreundlich und ruppig mit ihren Gästen umgehen " jetzt gehen sie halt raus und suchen sich selber einen Platz, kann ja nicht so schwer sein"( und das in einem abwertenden Tonfall...) ohne jegliche Vorwarnung.Des Weiteren ist der Spielplatz ziemlich runtergekommen und leider nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet da direkt ohne Zaun oder ähnliches ein Bach vorbeifließt...Was man jedoch zugute halten muss ist das Essen! Gute fränkische Kost zu guten Preisen und sehr gutes Wild (selber geschossen)Eine kleine Anekdote zum Abschluss: unsere Tochter wollte vor der Abreise ( unser Wohnwagen war schon gepackt und zu) noch ein Jogurt essen, welches wir im Restaurant eigenen Laden gekauft hatten. Leider wurden wir jedoch mit den folgenden Worten von den Freien bierbänken verscheucht: "hier ist nur im Restaurant bestelltes essen zu essen nicht irgend was aus dem Kiosk." Unsere zwei jährige Tochter dürfte also nur 10 Meter weiter am Wegrand ihr Jogurt essen obwohl kein einer Gast im Restaurant mit min 100 Sitzplätzen saß... Das waren nur zwei Begegnungen von vielen kleinen...Das verstehe ich nicht unter Familien freundlich und kann darum den Platz auch nicht weiterempfehlen...Gruß die junge FamilieS&j&m&C"

"Wir waren hier nach einer langen Wanderung eingekehrt. Der Service war arg im Stress, weil es richtig voll war und in der Region ist Personal schwer zu bekommen. Trotzdem waren sie ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Sternenschnitzel ist eine klare Empfehlung. Die Bratkartoffeln mit Majoran gewürzt und richtig gut gebraten. Überzeugt Euch selbst!"

"The description of the cakes and (pies) was not clearly understandable to me! Had ordered a blueberry cake and there came a blueberry cakeder, however, was very tasty and made use of it very friendly and attentive! Price performance ratio was agreed to expensive for me! Please inform what cakes or enrolled dishes cost on the boards"

"Service: Quick and very attentive young waiter, e.g. we were instantly brought pencils and something for our two young children to colour in. Drinks arrived one minute after ordering.Food: Impressively fat-free schnitzel, chips/fries/pommes, bratwuerste, etc. Potato salad as good as made at home. Tasty and portions not too large. No complaints.Surroundings: Sat inside due to threatening rain-showers. Very stale smell. Beer garden looked good if the weather would be better.Main complaint: The table next to the entrance (from the beer-garden) was used as an office by the (presumaby) owner and his wife. On the table were a stale glass of something (water?), a newspaper, and a telephone. The man just sat at the table and scowled at the customers. At least his wife moved around, but her facial expressions were much the same.Overall: Good food, good service, so what do you want? .. Welcoming atmosphere, perhaps?"
