Place which we have find by Pure luck, walking around. Great local Food in really coool retro ambient, with over 300 Years tradition. Highly recomend!

the only thing that was good here was the potato dumplings. otherwise nothing.As in the gastgarten the mice, not one, several have walked around .that was too much. the waitress on it: you can't do anything, this is so...so for us: no thanks!!

One of the few still typical Franconian rustic restaurants. The food is grounded with Schaufle Co. As you expect. The ambience flourished with lots of wood and old things. Good accessibility, as parking garages are not far away in the immediate vicinity or subway.

It is an old place, quite rustically furnished, with not very many tables (at least in the main room where we sat). The card is clear, but offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is also rustic (sorry, but I have no more suitable word for it). The food was good for everyone, whether fish or meat dishes. Prices are reasonable.

we arrived with my wife and the child at 21,15 am the time to say good evening the waitress comes to us with almost annoyed air and tells us that in 5 minutes the kitchen closes. We're going to sit down, take the German menu, ask the English one to take one and take back the German ones by banging them on a counter. to our demands was all finished, they didn't have the pork stylus, etc. we went away.

we arrived at this place at the suggestion of a blog on the internet of the best locals typical of Nuremberg. We were very attracted to the environment and even the dishes were no less. we took 3 local dishes all very good accompanied by a great beer and a apple strudel also this very good. The waitress was very kind and brought us some English menus. reasonable price on 15 euros per head. We recommend all tourists to stop here and eat!

Spectacular Typische Fränkischer meal choices: Schäufele, Karpfen, Schnitzel, Bratwurste. This is where you go when you are in the city center, (small street right by Kardstadt, want an excellent typical Fränkischer meal, (friendly, with the real local price, and locally sourced, in a cozy, classic wood beamed ambiance. The salads that come with the meals are so colorful, fresh, and fabulous. Everything you order will be hervorragend. Herbert Hofer is so welcoming and a fantastic chef. Not to be missed when in Nuremberg.

This tiny pub/ restaurant is over 500 years old were were told and came across it by accident. We had lunch upstairs but outside on the terrace. Nuremberger sausages with potato salad that wa to die foe. The waitress was very helpful and cheerful. We went back for dinner and although they were fully booked they gave us a table with another family. Many were turned away. If you want that old medieval feel of old Germany and it’s food come here. It’s a must do. The evening meal of pork chops with potatoes and a salad could not be bettered and all at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant is easily overlooked as it is located in a narrow semi-concrete house (right from the tapasitos . The guest rooms (ground floor and 1st floor are quite small and narrow, for this very rustic and cozy. There are no two tables (at least on the ground floor you sit with strangers on a table pleasant inn atmosphere. The service was very friendly (no Fränkin, who should not be rated, only noted, friendly and sympathetic. There is also a beer garden (here a backyard, with an amazingly large number of seats to reach over the guest room. The food is typical Franconian, really very good and large / sufficient portioned.
