At first it was somewhat uncomfortable and the service had not yet run warm, cute and annoyed. that could have been done before the opening.The big menu was first handed, but then exchanged for a very spooked card as well as that we had not really shot at anything yet, with the 6 common menus already irritated us with wild and zander for just under 20 €. on the quite peripheral, but not overloaded map you can find rhönlamm, wild, but also carving and typical petty-bourgeois cuisine of rhones.Schatz chose a grill plate with various sorts meat sponge, bark, wings) champignons and pommes for 10,00, while I decided to pick a lamb plate. I was allowed to taste and he was so delicious that I ordered one because he wasn't part of my dish. he was also delivered very quickly. I found my own choice even better. the lamb fillet was pink and very juicy tender, the lamb roast was beautifully defused with typical lamb flavor and the lamb chop steak wrapped with speck was as well as the jus with thymian flavored. the jus just discreet, the hacksteak a little more powerful, but perfect! also the speckböhnchen and the kartoffel cookies perfectly harmonized to it. 5 golocale stars must be there. for a 0.3 l rhönbier urtyp you pay here 1, 80 € and for 0.25 l mineral water 1.60.Finally we took two cappuccini.The drinks were not to be contested.The bill was incredibly moderate with around 33, €. these are hard priced and the price performance ratio is not too good, so 5 stars. the gasthof with hotel is operated by the vater of a now known football player. he has cooked in ulstertal at the top of gastronomy. na look at the name ... kehl .... yes, I mean sebastian Kehl. There was also schatz quite amazed and pleased and could hardly believe it until I showed him next to theke, the small corner with a photo of sebastian kehl, pokalen and other devotionalia.I remember the time when sebastian kehl was celebrated as a localmatador in the dash line. that was once again a perfect conclusion of a beautiful and harmonious, honeycombing, which will certainly be repeated at one of our next trips to the rhon.
