Great place for traditional Austrian cuisine. Large veggie and vegan options too. For carnivores really recommend szegediner herb it was absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Thank you for a great time!

A wonderful restaurant, wonderful staff gave us a wonderful evening. Tasteful food, nice piano music, and we will recommend this to our Norwegian friends. Charming staff, only wish that the food was presented. So many new combinations and tastes and would love to know the ingredients and how it was prepared.

The ambiance was great, the food was good, ate sweet potato soup, delicious, pasta, also delicious and an accidental vread with i guess ham in it, i am a vegetarian. I was unfortunately at toilet when the waiter told my partner that the bread contains meat and accidentally ate one. Be careful about the complimentary food if you are vegan. Voir le carte

We enjoyed it so much we ate here twice. We usually try to eat at different places every night on our vacation but there are a few restaurants that fall into the (Eat Twice!) category. The service was excellent, waiters were very friendly and helpful. The food and the wine wonderful. They had no problem changing a menu item for us. Prices are what is to be expected for this type of restaurant. Tourists eat here but they also have their regulars. Piano player is a nice touch. I wouldn't worry about wearing something special but I wouldn't show up in a t shirt either.

If you could only have one restaurant by which to remember a visit to Vienna, The White Chimneysweep is the perfect choice. The restaurant's name in German is Zum weißen Rauchfangkehrer, and even though its storybook decor may seem a bit touristy at first, this is a truly Austrian restaurant, with a loyal local clientele, and an energetic staff that provide extremely attentive service.
