"Rich menu for all tastes. The Greek appetisers are excellent. I like the variety of meat and the servings are generous. We go there quite often, it's always full, nany anniversaries and parties of 10 or more. It's always fun and a friendly atmosphere. It is a family restaurant, Argiri and Maria are the heart of the place. Maria coming out of the kitchen with 3-4 plates balancing them in the aisles with a huge kind smile, and Argiri with the beers are the best. It's a kids friendly restaurant, with plenty of toys and books and pencils to choose from. Worth the visit every time and you won't go bankrupt either."

Generous portion, smiling staff and regular prices. Wonderful surprise for a short stop in Aachen on our way to Bremen. Recommended.

This restaurant isn't as vegetarian friendly as I hoped. The food is more traditionally German, but saying that, I had a lovely Mozzarella salad there.

I was wandering looking for a German restaurant after a red eye from WDC. I ran across Zum. I had the veal cordon blu and was very happy. The staff were...

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service are fine. The food is not spectacularthe menu offers maybe too many options (german, greek, italian food) and we did not choose the best ones. Well-located.

Simply great. We found this place accidentally walking through the streets of Aachen, it was quite full - it is always a good sign. The place is great, very tasty food, big portions and unbelievably good prices! Definitely going back!

Was at this place for our pin bowling event. My god it was amazing. It was a vintage setup in one of the rooms behind. It was just amazing being there. We were 15 people together. With food and drinks on the go, this is a place to be. The hosts were taking good care.

We have read for this restaurant in tripadvisor and because of the good comments and the Greek dishes we decided to go there It is really very near to the city center and the food both Greek and German was wonderful We ate there twice and we liked the quality of food , the atmosphere of the restaurant and the very friendly service of the staff We recommend it as a good choice of eating in the beautiful city of Aachen

"The Mighty Blacksmith" is tucked up the hill from the cathedral. My Sunday midday meal (post Mass) included a draft Hannen Alt, Paprika-Sahne-Schnitzel (breaded pork cutlet in cream sauce with bell peppers, mushrooms and onions) with a mixed salad and home fries prepared with bacon and onions. The pork was hot (temp) but a bit tough. The sauce was bland, although helped by the roasted veggies. The bacon gave the potatoes pizzazz.

Been to this resto many times with friends and family every time I am in Aachen. The decor is basic but the host and staff are very friendly. The menu offers seasonal German dishes like white asparagus and the main menu has simple but tasty German and Greek dishes. My mum (73yrs old) says the tsatsiki is the best in Aachen and she always has a meat platter which she thoroughly enjoys. Portions are generous and yes it could do with a decor update but we come here for the food which has never been disappointing.
