beautiful local resteraunt that became a favorite when we lived them. large bavarianic dishes, but few surprises like thai curry

Atmosphere was nice and the menu promising with few dishes. 2 courses however took only 45 minutes and were IMHO conveniance food with flat taste and texture. Service was ok. Not overly friendly ir motivated but acceptable for average pricing. The environment seems to offer...little alternatives.

A typical Bavarian restaurant on a street island and here you have a garden with outdoor seating Inside very cozy, serving tasty massive Bavarian dishes all traditional and one won't get up hungry Very kind efficient service! Beers are fine and they offer a range...of cocktails, nice twist Prices are alright

Our visit to the restaurant was very pleasant. The light was somewhat weak, but the other ambience worked very well. The waiter was very friendly and didn't let him wait. The food was good, had the pumpkin soup (very tasty and the Kaiserschmarrn (some too sweet, the waiter brought me a lemon water and then it went. We would definitely go back.

Here is our neighborhood hotel and restaurant. It is a lovely beer garden and also quaint restaurant. Tables need to be reserved at weekends and special events as alot of local Bavarian families eat together here. Open every evening and the menu is Bavarian but...with an Asian touch. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and menus can be found in English.

This restaurant is our local Bavarian style with a Asian twist. The staff are extremely friendly and also some speak English. The food is excellent and locally sourced. Reservations are recommended for the inside restaurant and in winter. But in summer the large beer garden...is fabulous with a kids play area. They often have Wild Game menu or beer festivals. A family spot with a lot of tradition. Lovely

I have eaten here twice in this week, and both of them found eating very beautifully presented and tasteful. the restaurant is what I can imagine being in a traditional German style with dark wood and gentle lighting and gentle jazz in the background....The Munich carving was amazing and the fresh pike/perch did not disappoint. the staff was very friendly and happy to speak English with me. I highly recommend this restaurant when they are in gauting or even for a trip out of the mouth.

had a great meal here. I was on a business trip in the hotel alpenhof and was happy at a late arrival that there was a restaurant that was 30 seconds to walk. as it turned out, has a warm...Bavarian atmosphere and decor as well as our table pieces made our evening with their friendly service. I had a steak 'japanese style' with sweet potato friries that was delicious. I strongly recommend the hacker pschorr cellar beer beer. if I lived everywhere near, this would be on my list of favourite restaurants.

after a long very tiresome journey we recommended ourselves in hotel alpenhof and to the bar. it is practically over the road. we were greeted by warm waiting staff who could say that we were hungry, thirsty and tired and all the efforts have taken to feel comfortable. the beer was cold and fast and the sour roast with potato cnedel was amazing-precise as I remembered the traditional dish. the crème berry was better than anyone I had, and the hot love dessert (ice cream with warm skyberry sauce) was delicious. it was so delicious that we had one more night there, this time sitting outside in the beer garden. I had economical ravioli from the white German asparagus and it was unique and delic...
