Very nice beer garden. Great view. Nice host. What else do you want? Oh, yeah, super-catcher and especially crispy roast potatoes. We were very happy.

I had dinner last night and it was a great experience. great local beer, beautiful carpaccio appetizer, angus bark top level and desserts beautiful. service was great and quality top! highly recommended.

Cosy, rustic from the owner couple guided restaurant with grounded good kitchen. in the summer months behind the restaurant is the most beautiful beer garden arnsberg’s with a magnificent view over the ruhrtal and sun until sunset. all in all an absolutely recommended restaurant.

in the middle of the historical old town of arnsberg. from the ambiente, sourish plain, but still cozy. good beer in the ausschank (veltins). few dishes, but these are excellent, especially the carvings. certainly with the best in the region. absolutely recommended. we were in the most beautiful beer garden with the fantastic view over the ruhrtal on the seltersberg and kreuzberg with the great kapelle and the Rüdenburg.The service was very friendly and the chef himself tapped. the chefin was himself in the kitchen and by a very interesting elevator the food came into the garden.The fried in the pan and the self-made potato salad were sensational.

Of arnsberg ourselves, we weren't exactly impressed. There are some pretty monumental buildings, but the cozy's a little missing. It could be we were a little early in the season. Zum alten schloses, right under the old tower, is a very cozy inn. We spent a few hours in the beautiful train garden, or the so-called beer gars. We had a good lunch and we had a good drink. A few delicious glasses of wine. It was beautiful again that day and had a formidable view of the laid valley back there. It's run by a very close family. about a year ago we were invited by well-known to the most beautiful beer garden in my hometown arnsberg. since in March 2016 due to the weather of the beer garden was understandably not yet opened we returned to the restaurant. If the pub was set up for a few years, I would probably have felt it as cheesy, but it seems to be grown, is already madish urig.We chose sülze with bratkattoffeln and schnitzel. the food came quickly, in the meantime we drank a good beer due to a small wine selection (of course). the carving was quite good for a rustic restaurant, the hollandaissoße probably from the bag. the sülze was fantastic in the consistency, never ate as far as that. only unfortunately almost...
