"On the way we are always looking for a restaurant at noon, more rarely a snack. After visiting the artisans market in Schneverdingen-Wesseloh, I also found the Wesseloh Country Inn at Golocal, my wife studied the map at the entrance, not a vegetarian dish and therefore unsuitable. In Schneverdingen then a larger selection, but cheap foreign restaurants we did not search, because there are several of them. We expected regional cuisine in Hubertus and Zum alte Krug, but there were no reviews in Golocal in that well-known country house Hoepen is not yet created at Golocal, would have had three vegetarian and a vegan food on offer. So we drove to the old jug, first look at the menu, a vegetarian dish with goat cheese, which is also offered vegan without cheese. After the drinks the greeting came from the kitchen, baguette with housewives and tomatoes dip. The homepage I am not up to date and also has no prices, so I can only write from the memory of Aubergine and Mediterranean vegetables, cherry tomatoes with a carrot pump Klecks, large potato chip and salad garrison, for this you pay proud €16.50, but tastefully very good and tasty and also nicely dressed. My wife would like to have eaten more of it. I chose the wedding soup for 6,20 €, which was well tasted with a lot of insert. Then followed the tip with acidic cucumber and roast potatoes. The portion was sufficiently large, also cost only 13.30 €. The Knipp was nice pink fried and did not float in fat, so it must be. The ambience with the white chair covers is not our taste, even the walls in our seating area did not make it more cozy. Unfortunately, everything was reserved in the front area. The service is nice and attentive, you can only pay cash or with EC card, credit cards are not accepted."

Sehr schönes Ambiente , leckeres Essen , netter Service - absolut empfehlenswert. Wir hatten den Wildschweinburger , die Wildschweinwürstchen und die Hühnchenroulade.

Auf der Speisekarte findet jeder etwas. Das Essen ist gut und die Bedienung freundlich. Das Einzige, was etwas " stört ", sind die Getränkepreise. Man befindet sich zwar im " Speckgürtel " von Hamburg, aber noch lange nicht in der Großstadt...

Schnelle und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Grossartige und weitgefächerte Speisekarte. Exzellente deutsche Küche, ideenreich und raffiniert verfeinert. Portionen reichhaltig auch für den grossen Appetit. Phantastische deutsche und ausländische Weine.

Gemütlich essen würde ich ja gerne,aber leider immer wenn ich einmal im Jahr hier Mittags essen möchte ist das Lokal zu obwohl die Öffnungszeiten dran stehen und wir pünktlich sind ist es geschlossen. Da wir schon einmal in diesen Lokal essen waren,und es sehr lecker war freuten wir uns wieder hinzufahren, aber jedes mal ohne Erfolg. Und jetzt nicht mehr. Das wares.

Hübsches Restaurant in netter Umgebung. Das Essen war gut (sehr ordentliche Zutaten von hoher Qualität), der Service war freundlich und Aufmerksam. Einziger Kritikpunkt: ich persönlich fand die Speisekarte etwas unübersichtlich. Die Küche ist handwerklich wirklich gut, kann sich aber irgendwie nicht recht entscheiden, ob sie nun traditionell oder außergewöhnlich sein will. Trotzdem: eindeutige Empfehlung.

The place looked very nice, so we entered, even if the menu looked a bit heavy. The waitress was very helpfull and friendly and we found two very tasty vegetarian dishes. Portions were huge, but you enjoyed everything. We had a drink to start "Hugo", which was free, when you ordered a bottle of whine. A very good German white wine. For desert ice cream: huge portions again, delicious. The price/quality excellent. You eat well german food with modern touch in a nice atmosphere and have a friendly service. What more do you expect!

Bestellung: 1) Maischolle 2) Hochzeitssuppe + paniertes Schnitzel.Fazit: Trockene Scholle; Suppe wässrig (Eindruck: In Heißwasser wurden div. Gemüse und Wurstbrätkügelchen hineingeworfen, das Ganze zu einem Preis von 5,90 €); Schnitzel war zäh - ohne besonderen Geschmack. Um das zu verbessern, musste erst um Salz und Pfeffer gebeten werden. Höhepunkt der Unverschämtheit: Das (nicht bestellte) Amuse-Gueule wurde unter der Rubrik "Beilagen" mit 3,30 € berechnet,was vom Kunden mit einer Trinkgeldverweigerung quittiert wurde.Résumé: Es ist eigentlich schade, dass bei dem recht ansprechendem Ambiente eine so miese Leistung angeboten wird. Ich war zum dritten - und letztem Mal - in diesem Lokal.

Während der Woche bestellen die meisten Gäste das täglich wechselnde Mittagsgericht. Aber wer das nicht mag, kann auch aus der normalen Speisekarte wählen - einige Gerichte gibt es davon am Wochenende nicht. Mein Mann bestellte das Tagesgericht Rouladen mit Rotkraut für 7,20 Euro, unser Sohn nahm nur eine Currywurst mit Pommes frites, während ich eine kleine Portion des heidetypischen Knipp orderte und davon auch satt wurde. Um die Wartezeit zu verkürzen, liess die Küche mit einem kleinen Brötchen mit Dips grüßen. Die Bedienung erkundigte sich nach jedem Vorbeigehen, ob auch alles in Ordnung sei. Das war es! (auch das preisgünstige Bier). Im alten Krug kann übrigens mit EC-Karte bezahlt werd...
