Solid chain Italian in a good location. Not a huge menu, but listing calories is appreciated. They did a weird balsamic onion glaze on mozarella bread, but food was otherwise good.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner here. We shared a pizza primavera and a chicken and prosciutto salad. The flavors were very good and the portions generous. There is a nice dessert menu and we really enjoyed the black cherry and amaretto cheesecake. Voir le carte

After many days of touring Scotland and eating more traditional food…we ate at Zizzi’s for dinner. First the staff were all excellent. The starters of meatballs and cheesy bread were great but the calamari could be skipped. The pizza was great…thin crust and delicious. The beer was served in a very icy/chilled glass. Great find.

We enjoyed our dinner at Zizzi. It was fairly busy, so I recommend getting a reservation. Join their loyalty club, and you can also get a free starter. The cheesy garlic bread was good. You can also get an Italian pizza for around £16. It was a fair price for a solid meal in a relatively expensive tourist area. I would pass on the spritz, as it wasn't great. The service staff did a good job.

I recently had a three-course meal at this restaurant and I must say, I was very impressed. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast. I began with the meatballs which were tasty, followed by the carbonara and fries for my main course, both of which were excellent. The brownie for dessert was a standout and absolutely delicious. One of the worst experiences ever at this restaurant. The staff was not very professional in dealing with customers. When we requested a river view table, we were told that some were dirty and others were closed, so we were seated in the middle. Only a few minutes later, another couple sat at one of the closed tables without any issue. Even when other tables became available, our request to move was denied, as we were told they were suddenly booked. I did not even try the food as I left immediately due to the disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Initially, this review could have been a 3-star rating. When we arrived, we were initially turned away at the entrance with little interest because we had not made a reservation. However, since there were open tables available, we quickly made an online reservation for just 5 minutes later and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. This initial experience slightly dampened my mood, but the incredibly friendly service and the skilled pizza maker in the black t-shirt quickly turned things around. We arrived at the restaurant after booking online earlier that day. We had to wait for about 5 minutes until the waitress finally acknowledged our presence. She did the same thing to some American tourists as we were leaving, snapping at them to just wait. Just before seating us, we were informed that they did not accept Tesco vouchers at this restaurant, despite not being told about this when booking. The food was not enjoyable, with my risotto rice still being crunchy. One of the bar/waitresses was friendly, but the other ignored our starter plates while she was texting on her phone.
