The food is good and the staff are friendly. Reasonable prices and very clean.

6 of us had a family meal, as always bright clean, friendly attentive staff (even when busy) food and wine excellent,child friendly always makes for a good time and memorable meal

The seafood risotto was too spicy due to an excessive amount of chili. I've had this dish at this restaurant twice before and it was delicious, but this time the spice was too much.

Our reservation was not confirmed, and despite being told we could have a table, the restaurant didn't have three main course dishes, normal coke, or brownie. The food we ordered was poor quality, and we had to wave at the barmaid to order our second drink after waiting for an hour. We will not be coming back.

Unfortunately, even though we produced our booking reference, it appeared that Zizzi Hitchin had not received our booking from TopTable. This was most disappointing as it resulted in us waiting for over 45 minutes for a table on a very busy Saturday evening. Zizzi explained that is better to book direct as this system can fail. The staff were apologetic (even though it wasn't their fault)! In future I will book directly with restaurant !!! Voir le carte

Zizzi, Hitchin (Baldock) Tuesday lunch the sharing Valentines offer £35 for 2, 3 courses. Glass of house prosecco £1. Main was 6 tapas style dishes. Food was tasty freshly prepared but service was slow 1 1/2 hours for 3 courses. I rushed off leaving my partner to pay. Restaurant was quite busy; not sure if the slow service was due to lack of waiting staff or kitchen staff. Staff were friendly pleasant but seemed a bit disorganised. Would go back but not if had time pressure.

I had been excited to return to Zizzi in Maidstone after a previous excellent experience, but this time I was disappointed. The food was bland, specifically the linguini with courgette, ricotta, and chilli. It seemed like they forgot to add the ricotta and chilli. Additionally, the portion sizes seemed smaller compared to my previous visit. The ice cream was tasty, but the portion was so small, it felt like it was meant for a child. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the coffee was enjoyable.

I have dined at this restaurant for lunch on a weekday and found it to be a better experience compared to Saturday night dinner. It seems like my visit was on a Saturday night, as the noise levels were loud, a starter was forgotten by the waitress, and one of the pasta dishes was undercooked. This led to me waiting with my dish ready, while my partner's meal was still being prepared. Despite these mishaps, the overall experience was decent. I may still go back to the restaurant but will likely avoid busy nights in the future. Voir le carte
