Zizzi - Colchester - Menu

Zizzi, colchester god food, very busy as everyone else appeared to have money off vouchers.

Food came out extremely fast and staff was so nice and welcoming will definitely be coming back!

I have never had a negative experience at this restaurant, and my most recent visit was exceptional. The food was top-notch and the service was outstanding. It has a unique, independent atmosphere that sets it apart from typical chain restaurants. I absolutely love it.

Food : very small portions and even more expensive. Moreover, the food was served cold and tasteless. Service: It is the worst service I have ever seen in my life. Not only the staff but also when we ask the manager if the staff’s attitude was acceptable, her respond was even more impolite and unprofessional.

We went to Zizi's without knowing the area very well.We started by looking at the atmosphere ,which was beautiful,the toilets were very clean as well.The food was delicious with many unique flavours. Our server ,Izzy ,was so kind and smiling always.She also gave us advice and information about Colchester. She related very well with other customers in the restraunt and was very friendly to kids and adults.On the whole I would really recommend coming here.

We had booked for a table of eight with two young children for my Sons Birthday, the table we had was ideal as upstairs and a bit quieter than downstairs. The service was really good and we generally enjoyed the evening. Just one of the dishes the meatballs with pasta was not good at all, allot of pasta but just a few fragments of meat balls, the whole dish lacked flavour and my wife did not enjoy it at all. Prices are high, getting towards the price of fine dining for an establishment that is average but a reasonably good average.

After waiting to be seated even though we had booked , as our table was given to someone else. I had to tell the waiter 3 times that we had booked . We ordered our food to be told that they had run out of what we wanted, so had to re choose! The table next to us ordered after us and had eaten their starters. We were only having a main. There mains were then brought out , it was an hour after our first order was taken , so I asked the waiter if ours was going to be much longer , he went to find out. It was going to be a while as they were just starting it . So was told them not to bother! It had taken me 6 years to get my partner to come to Zizis with me, now he won't go back again ! Needless...
