The waiter was under some pressure as they seemed understaffed but was still able to provide a great experience The food was delicious and fantastic looking too

Poor food quality. Bare pizza with very little topping. The pizza cook was not dressed in an apron but an old tshirt that appeared dirty. Poor hygiene!! Poor value for the prices charged!!

The service was poor and one of our meals arrived cold. Overall, the experience was lackluster and we are unlikely to return. We have dined at Zizzi Restaurants in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time was disappointing. Voir le carte

Avoid at all costs! Food is bland.. frozen fish and old veg that doesn't even taste like veg..the fresh pasta isn't fresh .. mushroom starter .. awful!! Awful! King prawn starter was the only thing that was nice. Didn't try the pizza but no! no !no! Even people working there acknowledge that their food isn't up to standard... I thank them for their honesty . The menu looks but deliverance ZERO!

This is our third visit to Zizi’s and again the experience didn’t disappoint. A very warm welcome, the restaurant was buzzing with people, and we were served very quickly by a really great guy. Our drinks came within 5 minutes of ordering and our pizza arrived very shortly after. The pizza was absolutely delicious and I love the way they are served on a board with a pizza cutter. Well done Zizi’s we had a great time and will definitely be back.

Came here with family, made a booking. It was mildly busy but not frantic. Food was decent, they've changed some of the dishes and not for the better, like vegan lentil bolognese....much preferred the previous version. The service was a bit hit and miss, which wasn't understandable as it wasn't too busy. The men's toilet were out of order, but no sign to say so...so men had to walk up two flights of stairs to see a sign, why not out one at the bottom of the stairs? After shopping for the day in Reading, we decided to stop for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, upon entering the restaurant, we were ignored by the staff even though they saw us. After finally being seated, we were once again ignored when we tried to place our order. Our starter was just okay and nothing special, and while I was still chewing my last mouthful, our main course arrived! The server couldn't even place the dishes on the table due to the leftover starter plates. When it came time to pay, we encountered more difficulty. The card machine was presented to us with the tip donation screen already open, and we were given no instructions on how to remove it. Feeling pressured, we ended up...

The food was lovely. The service, however, was not. We went on Monday Eve and found the staff to lack anny character or even any form of personality or politeness. However, because the food was nice and suited all in our party, and I had a discount code of 30%, we decided to return the following night. When we got there, we felt we were a bother just entering the establishment. The person at the door was obviously fed up working there and found anyone coming in to be a nuisance to them. Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The welcome we received was half-hearted and the service continued to be subpar throughout our meal. Our starters were served along with the side order we had ordered for our mains, which was a strange mix-up. The mushroom brindisi lacked real mushrooms and our main courses arrived while we were still finishing our starters. The pork belly was undercooked and greasy, while the vegan rainbow lasagne was over-reheated to the point of being stuck to the dish.
