"Vegetarian restaurant. I didn't realise this. I like meat. . But what a quirky little place. It's attached to the funky little cinema, and meal deals with a ticket look good value. It's kind of got a 1930's style vibe in the basement area, IMO, which looked good and was spacious and comfortable. There is a jazz bar upstairs and a different menued restaurant, still vegetarian.Started with cheese garlic bread. Went on to butternut squash risotto, and the wife had the pasta pesto. Followed by lemon posset, and the boy had the ice cream. All dishes are going to get a high score, and if in the area again I'd go back.Wish I'd taken some photos, but the boy was getting tired and was watching YouTube!! Cardinal sin, I know."

large vegetarian kitchen with a lot of choice including the charge of pizzas. I had a beautiful summer budding. but as everywhere the prizes have shot up, so it ended an expensive lunch for two

we really enjoyed our dinner in this 100% vegetarian restaurant, and such a meal was a first for us. the restaurant is beautiful and the food service excellent. there is also a beautiful coffee shop.

We didn't have a reservation as our stay was unexpected due to snow. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were grateful it was open, as many others were closed by 4pm on a Sunday. The food was delicious and we all left satisfied. Thank you.

We have visited Zeffirellis in Ambleside many times over the years and this return visit was as good as the first. Prompt, polite service and good honest veg cooking made for a lovely meal. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and very clean and organised. If your in Ambleside its a must : ... maybe a nut parmo to the menu soon ;

Don’t eat here thinking you are going to get a nice Italian restaurant experience. it’s all fur coat and no knickers. The front of house had resting you know what face. Ordered a pizza thinking how can an Italian restaurant F… up pizza well they can so don’t bother, stodgy greasy mess for the mighty sum of £15 don’t waste your time with this hellscape

After having a bad meal and experience at a different restaurant in Ambleside, we were delighted by this place. We decided to stop in for a quick drink before heading back to our car and were impressed with the excellent and quick service. The staff was polite and the drinks and cakes were excellent. The toilets were also very clean and pleasant. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and will be returning in the future.
