Can't fault Zarda, really nice Indian cuisine, really friendly staff, very attentive. What are you still reading this for, book up go enjoy.

Food was good, but the restaurant was so cold it was really unpleasant. Left when we finished our food, which was a shame, because the staff was really friendly and hospitable. Will try again in summer.

Our second visit to this exellent retaurant.Party of five first time and party of four this time.The service and quality of food can not be faulted.Price wise it is comparable to far inferior restaurants offering similar fare but without the flavours and good service.I would highly recommend anyone to book and enjoy some fabulous cuisine.

The food was delicious, and presented very well. Good quality meat was used (between us we had the lamb kebab starter, lamb dupiaza and the dhansak) no fatty cuts of meat used. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The restaurant looked beautiful, definitely a place we would return to. The dhansak was very spicy! And I can eat spicy food! Our waiter offered us yoghurt to help. Would love to see coconut rice on the menu, and perhaps a minty sweet yoghurt dip for the starters. Cannot wait to return for another meal.

We discovered Zarda about 6 weeks ago and were already 3 times. The first time we were alone and had such a great meal that we had some friends for the second time (which also thought it was remarkable good) and then another friend last week and she was also knocked over. My a tiny handle is that it is pretty hard to read the menu as it is gold on black; I know it's demanding, but it makes it pretty hard to decipher. But this is a very small nigger, it is basically a fabulous place with wonderful food and a beautiful overall feeling. We love it and will come back soon. With our reading glasses!

Food and drinks seem over priced. Our total neared £220 for 7 people 3 not drinking alcohol. They had no beers on tap so only bottles available Cobra or Peroni (small bottle of peroni) The staff were rude, we continuously waited for drinks. When we asked to order some after one person said there order he walked away rather then asking if we needed to order more, when he came back with the drink order we ordered the other drinks and he looked towards us smirking as if we were taking the mick ordering more drinks. Used to like this indian but have been put off for good, service was generally poor no personality no effort, will not be going again any time soon or ordering a takeaway.

This was our first visit to Zarda which was an achievement in itself as my husband is not too partial to Indian food. However, he thoroughly enjoyed his meal and went so far to say that it was one of the best meals he had recently. Compliments to the chef! The food was very well presented, tasty and portion size good. The only negative comment I would offer is that the restaurant was too cold for dining. The building is very old and probably does not have concrete foundations; the staff had the radiators on, extra heaters and an open fire but it was still on the chilly side.
