Xantener Eck Und Bierhaus

This is my favourite restaurant in Berlin. I really like there food. It is good traditional food from south of Germany. Big portions, cheap prices, good beers and quick and friendly, helpful staff. Can not ask for more. I will be back.

the xantener eck is a restaurant with pub flair. the guests and the service are cold and unspectacular. There is no smoking room.The prices are slightly raised to the location.The sanitary facilities are old-fashioned and unattractive, but not unpadded or dirty.

Nous avons dîné dans cette stube typiquement allemande sur les conseils des internautes. On a très bien mangé, les assiettes sont bien garnies , les prix plus que correct. Par contre on n'a pas appris à notre serveur ce que sourire voulait dire, on a de plus à peine entendu le son de sa voix. D'où la note moyenne . Voir le carte

We had the buffet breakfast, which was basic and good enough for the price. Quite a few locals having breakfast as well. The waitresses seemed stressed and generally unhappy with the state of the world, so service was slow and not that friendly. Whatever the reason for the tense athmosphere, it was enough for making a decision not to go here again.

the previous assessments made doubts about the quality and quantity. but always try yourself! we were four and have ordered different feeds. the quality and the portions have and very positiw surprised. For example, the ovine or the cauliflower were delicious and plentiful. also the service has voted. if we can do it, we will be happy to come back in the next days.

for a long time we wanted to visit the xantener eck, from the hotel panorama it was not far. 10% with the Welcome Card, bad luck, for steaks gil that not. 3 different steaks ordered, edible, but for the price very sparse. battered potatoes unniceable, from where did the cook have the recipe? operation nice, but complaining were cut off after the currency "pech had". € 77,- invested for mist. never again! I had dinner with my family. The food wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary. Maybe Slightly overpriced for what we got. All waitresses are not very friendly eapecially the short black one. The blonde one is passable, although when I asked her a suggestion about the beer to drink, she dismissed me with a pilsener as she implied I was incapable to understand/apperciate other beer. She did not even tried to explain if they were blond or brown beer.

we were a group of 12 people on business trip and had a little thirsty after a long trip, so directly from the hotel (about 800 m away) to the xanten corner. this circumstance and the perfect location to the open made the xantener eck the daily beginning and end of our 4-day Berlin trip.The prices are in contrast to the taste rather lower capital level. gr. beer approx. € 4,20 - 4,50; main dishes in neat size are approx. € 8,00 - 14,00. all in all a really recommended local with berliner flair.

After we had gone to dinner here (and were quite satisfied), we had the pleasure to return to a cold drink again. So when we were on the kudamm on Friday night, we are spontaneously snowed in here - as before the local tables were still occupied. to order, we have gone into it and found that no one sat inside. it was already cleared. it was just after 23 o'clock. to our question whether we could order a drink was immediately friendly by the waitress responded "well clear, a drink still goes".We then took out a free table between the other guests. the drinks were also served outside. a few minutes after we had received the drinks, the waitress came with the bill (point 23.30). a few minutes l...
