"My daughter and I recently attended the RedLion for a meal at short notice, and were pleasantly surprised at the warm reception which we received. The bar was relatively quiet for the time and the day. We went to the bar and placed our order, which was served quite briskly ......the steak, with side salad and trimmings, and a similar burger without the roll, as my daughter is allergic to bread Half way through our meal we were approached by three fellow diners, who made themselves known,...................old friends who had moved from the area, more than twenty years previously, So the Red did us proud, out of the blue , and pink with embarrassment ,we enjoyed a golden evening and the food wasn't bad either. Dietary restrictions: My daughter is allergic to breads so enjoyed her burgher minus thar item butane up for it with side salad."

"I had a pleasant afternoon lunch at this restaurant today. I chose to sit outside, which seemed to surprise the staff at first. However, after only 10 minutes, all the outdoor tables were filled with customers. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. I opted for two tapas plates, which were satisfying. The price of my latte was surprisingly cheaper than most other places in the city. The restaurant appeared to be popular, as it was quite busy even at 10 in the afternoon. Overall, a great dining experience."

"I have been thinking about this review for a bit of time . We had a christening cake made here and it looked amazing had all the wow factor you expect from a £100 cake and then there is the taste . Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad cake the chocolate level was nice enjoyed by all but was Notting different than what you could buy from a local supermarket . The cookie and cream level was not good was very dry and the taste was just so sweet it may be it just was not mine or are guests cup of tea . I dident return it as by the time I came to have some it had been given out and a lot of the cookie and cream level ended in the bin ."

"I live local to this coffee shop and also my childrens school is as good as next door so its a great meeting place for a catch up with the mums'. Lovely food, all cooked fresh. Good selection of drinks too. Childrens meals very reasonable...and plentiful. The same people own the chip shop next door so you get the option of hot, fresh fish and chips too!! Comfy seating with plenty to read and spotlessly clean."

"We went to Anise after a long 3 hour drive looking for some dinner. Upon walking in, we saw that all food options could be altered to be vegan, none of us are vegan but we thought the accommodation was brilliant. We were seen to quickly despire not booking, and our starters came. The presentation of the food was gorgeous and the food itself was great. Although they were simple dishes, they were dishes that could have easily gone wrong, but they were perfect. We ordered our mains, and yet again the food was perfect and the presentation was also perfect. I genuinely have no criticism. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, although more on the quiet side, everyone seemed happy and it uplifted our spirits too. The staff are kind and happy to help. We enjoyed everything thoroughly, and would definitely come here again if we were in the area."
