"Came here last week Thurs or Friday afternoon. First time here and went into the bar, lady behind bar was talking to her colleague and nobody else waiting to be served. She turned and looked at me, no hell or what can I get you. I ordered 2 drinks. The whole time she was porinythem she chatted to her colleague about going to the upside down house and how she's getting the 11 pclock train etc. then she puts the drinks in front of me £10.40 came out her mouth. No please or thanks. I then said thank you to her because I was brought up properly and her reply....it's ok!??? I mean come on love that's just rude. Anyway I will take my money somewhere that deserves it in future."

Excellent pub, beautiful building and grounds. Fine selection of real ales, continental lagers, wine and spirits. They have a good menu to go with all this.

We had a lovely meal here on the 7th May 24. The food was excellent. Paula was very efficient and friendly. We couldn’t fault anything on our visit. Thank you for a nice meal.

We recently have our wedding ceremony and celebration at the Wynnstay. Marie and her team were brilliant, they looked after everyone all day and evening. Thank you so much. Also a mention to marleys for room decoration and entertainment.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday. We were served by both Paula's, and they were really helpful with my mum being quite fussy, and they offered to make her just eggs on toast which she was pleased with. I had eggs benedict- delicious. Couldn't fault the food or service. Loos were lovely and clean too We've been for Sunday roast before too and that's also 10/10!

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed the pie and pint offer. Manchester Meat and Potato was spot on. My partner had the hunters chicken and I also enjoyed a nice flat white. The place was done out nicely for Valentine’s Day with some roses on the smaller tables and seemed to be a nice special menu too. Service from Liam, Ryan Liv was exceptional as always, always time for a chat.
