Visited with a large group of hungry cyclists in folding bikes. The food was delicious. Had the Triple Roast (it was Sunday obviously) and the staff were very nice and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!!

Visited for Sunday Roast. The service I wouldn’t say it was the best, but the roast was excellent! Really liked the mashed potatoes and the meat (I chose the turkey option). Would definitely recommend! Dog friendly.

Went here for dinner. And it wasn't paticularly busy. But from ordering our starters to actually receiving our starters was 50 minutes. Been here a few times before. But this was the worse experience. No idea what was going on

We made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant and Lauren was very helpful with our booking. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. As a fan of ale, I was impressed with the clean and fresh taps. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I ate lunch in the garden on what was likely the hottest day of the year. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young man working behind the bar. Despite the heat, they maintained their smiles and provided great service. A very welcoming pub.

Spent most of my day here today with my family of 5... I was very impressed. It was a beautiful day, therefore became very busy. There was a bouncy castle outside for the children in the lovely, clean garden. Food was good and reasonably priced. Beer was excellent. With the pub being on my doorstep and with a greater family feel, i am likely to be returning.

Went to the Woodman last night for a Garage Night… it was so good! Music was brilliant, atmosphere was friendly and fun, it was very busy but staff were able to cope and there wasn’t long wait times to get a drink as they have both inside and outside bars. This pub was made for nights like these, it has a fantastic garden perfect for summer evenings and parties. I would highly recommend going if they have another one.

Me and my partner attended the garage night live entertainment evening at the Woodman on Saturday night with our local friends. It was such a fantastic evening, so many people were there enjoying themselves, dancing and singing along to the brilliant music. Please make these outdoor live music events more frequent everyone I spoke to said they didn’t want the night to end and wanted the music to carry on! Well done Woodman, fantastic night out for the local community to enjoy!

I had an excellent Sunday lunch today at this restaurant. It was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The roasts were delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. They came out hot, and we even got free extra Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes if we wanted them! The location is great, with a green area behind the pub for a leisurely stroll. The pub also has a fantastic large garden with various seating areas, so you can choose a quiet spot or sit closer to the bouncy castle for kids, which is a big hit.
