"This restaurant had recently been in the local papers for employing illegal staff so we were a little reticent. We visited this restaurant on saturday night as the other Chinese and Thai were fully booked (at 6.30pm . Service was slow and staff were not very attentative-busy on mobiles and counter around the corner so customers in this sectio were overlooked. It all felt strange when we arrived a sthere was not one member of staff who was Chinese but that shouldn 't matter-one would think. The food came up some on hot plates, some on not so hot. There was a main plate on the table-which I assumed was for proportioning spoonfuls of the dishes and to eat from. This plate was on the table when we arrived so was also stone cold. There were no table warmers but the food did taste good. As we had over-ordered, i requested that we take the 'left-overs ' away.when we finished. The first waiter took most of htis away and another waitress removerd the rest. The request to have 'doggie-bags ' was also relayed to her. We had a feeling that this was not going as should as the waiter did not apear to understand English or was inexpereinced-couldn 't make sure what the issue was . The waitress returned with just the rice and we asked about the other dishes where she went off with what was the obvious situation as anticipated. As no-one cam eback immediatley, I went to the counter to pay the bill and overheard what was the obvious situation. I part paid the bill and left without a snack for the following day but £10 better off. (The cheek of it was that they had automatically added a 10% service charge! . It is a pity that attention to detail was not taken as the food tasted good and it was quite comfortable. Maybe this is the reason the other two were fully booked and we were able to get a table!"

This used to be our favourite Chinese restaurant ever! The food is still lovely but the service is horrendous, unfortunately we will not be back!

Located in the center of Crowborough near all the shops, and other restaurants. I went there recently for lunch, and was very impressed with the quality of food served. The place is very clean, and has a unique atmosphere.

I always order the chicken with black bean sauce, along with a side of chicken chow mein and duck spring rolls. This restaurant never lets me down. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are generous. The quality is always excellent!

I am extremely disappointed. I recently received a delivery from Wok Inn and both of the main courses were very disappointing. The lamb dish was missing ginger and the teriyaki beef just didn't taste right. I hope Wok Inn can improve their quality and consistency in the future.

The food here is absolutely top notch. Best Chinese take away i have ever had and the Chicken Chow Mein is to die for. I cannot recommend it enough and i would never have a take away from anywhere else. Go on Treat Yourself you will not be dissapointed. I and my wife cannot wait until our next Take Away ;

We have used the wok inn for take aways and eat in for years . Unfortunately we had a take away and it was terrible ! Completely different food and was really bad . Rang up to let them know and see what's going on, it is under new ownership !! They offered £10 off the next meal but I said if the food was the same we would decline and wanted our money back from this order , they refused . We had spend £40 and couldn't eat most of it . Beware , won't be using again . Real shame about the last owners leaving
