Superb night! Amazing food and overall service from Grace. We sat in the bar area to eat which had a good vibe on a Friday night. We stayed over in a very high quality room with thoughtful attention to detail.

The pub has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and serves a good selection of quality drinks. Food can be served in the restaurant or bar and the quality is excellent. The food is well cooked, well presented and extremely well priced. The staff are excellent and I am delighted to have this pub in easy walking distance. Voir le carte

As someone following a gluten free diet I am so impressed with the gluten free options this pub offers! I had gf breaded scampi (which I've not seen anywhere else) but could have had gf fish chips, pizza or burgers, in addition to those dishes which are naturally gf. The menu and website don't make this clear so do ask them!

Great pub with dining visited as we was staying in Crewe hall for the night home cooked food with hand cut chips available I had the rump steak my wife had the home made steak and ale pie very tasty food both happy with empty plates friendly and polite staff added bonus they sure live sports which was another reason we went nice all round Sunday visit

I really enjoyed this charming pub with its beautifully decorated Christmas dining area. The food, ranging from starters to mains to desserts, was all delicious. It was also great value for money, not too expensive. The only downside was that the conservatory area was a bit chilly. A major positive was that they did not add a service charge to the bill. I have been to this restaurant a few times before, and each time the food seems to be improving. Jen provided excellent service as front of house, and credit must be given to the chef for the delicious meal. I started with a prawn cocktail and then enjoyed a tasty fry up. The prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. - Matt R.

We had a garlic bread with cheese starter which was lovely. The daughter had chicken goujons and chips and the wife had smothered chicken and chips and both were very nice. I had the fish and chips, the chips were homemade and very nice but the fish wasnt so good (great batter but inside was just a slimy mush). I would go here again but i'd definitely give the fish a miss.

We stopped by for dinner and noticed that all the restaurant tables were decorated for Christmas dinners, except for ours and one other. The front lounge and bar were packed at 5:30pm. Unfortunately, it was not a good visit. The lasagne was bland with pale-looking mince and only six chips. The smothered chicken was tough as a Wellington boot. The staff were still lovely as always, but I think they were overwhelmed and understaffed that night. Voir le carte
