The pub doesn't look up to much on the outside, I wondered if they were in the process of doing it up. Nevertheless, the food was good, the cider baked ham was delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The charming pub has a welcoming atmosphere and is perfect for a large group. The menu offers delicious food and a variety of local beers. The staff made everyone feel at home and ensured a wonderful experience for all.

We visited the white horse for a family wedding and the service, food and hospitality were fantastic. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make the celebrations perfect. I would recommend visiting this cosy pub that serve fab meals. Voir le carte

When I phoned to ask if coffee and brownies would be served a very pleasant lady said she would open a quarter of an hour early to serve coffee but no time to make Brownies as understaffed When we arrived our family group enjoyed coffee and amazingly delicious Brownies had been made ! Thank you so much.

My Daughter had her wedding reception here and it was a fantastic venue Andy and Justine were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble Staff were great and food was out of this world Called in as a customer of the pub as well good selection of beers and lagers and really quirky interior Will definitely be going back there

We received a warm welcome and helpful service at this restaurant, where we had booked a table for three. The menu offered plenty of choices at reasonable prices, and the food was well cooked and tasty. It is definitely worth a visit. I met up with my family at this pub for lunch and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The chicken, bacon, and avocado jacket potato was especially tasty, and those who had burgers really enjoyed them as well. The pub offers a children's menu with generous portions. The beer drinkers in our group enjoyed a local brew and mentioned that the pub knows how to take care of their beer.

We are regular visitors to the pub just love going there. The atmosphere is ‘ old country pub cosy’ without the horse brasses. Andy Justine are avid collectors the pub displays lots of quirky interesting Objets d’art Our roast chicken dinner was delicious. Vegetables freshly cooked to perfection. Delicious chicken. Nothing is too much trouble for A J staff when I requested that I’d love stuffing to be included with roast I was assured they would start to include it. In this occasion we didn’t have a dessert but had a delicious coffee from their very high tech coffee machine. Very good value for money too ! We will be back !

This pub is 'a work in progress ' the owners told us and it was evident the owners have worked hard both physically and imaginatively during the on-going Covid period to create a pub full of atmosphere. The outside belied the interior to reveal an excellently sized bar area, a restaurant, an unexpected little snug and tasteful decor. There was an excellent menu with well thought-out fresh ingredients resulting in us having tasty and beautifully presented meals. Thank you too to the chef who even took time to let me have my first taste of vegetarian ice cream!
