"Where to begin, took my family out for a meal early evening , we have two children under 18. Sat outside in beer garden , children sat nicely and causing no issues at all. Ordered drinks first and then we would order food. Drinks took nearly an hour to get to us . Lovely waitress apologised and said there was a backlog at the bar, we had no issues with that and were in no rush and just enjoying the evening sun. By the time the drinks had arrived and we had then ordered our food it was just after 8.30pm. Very abrupt Shift manager stomped over and basically told us to get the kids off the property by 9pm! I explained that we had just ordered food and she basically said tough , you can take it home in takeaway boxes. Explained that we didn’t want to eat our meal out of take away boxes so she could cancel the order and refund us and we would leave . Shift manager basically told us it was our fault and that there was a quite clear notice in the front door regarding children after 9pm and refused to refund or cancel. Food came in take away boxes and it was basically get your crotch goblins out with no apologies or consideration for the fact that they were sat quietly and outside. On leaving we looked for the said notice at the entrance that was OUR FAULT for not reading but search as we could no notice could be found? I even called over the waitress to assist in our search for said prominent and important notice that was our fault we didn’t read but she too must need spec savers like us as she couldn’t locate it however let’s get priorities straight there was a very prominent sign explaining about the establishments lack of tomato sauce!!! see photo as it’s obviously more important than discriminating against children ! Turns out the said sign was in fact showing as a blank piece of A4 paper as it was presenting backwards due to the front doors being pinned open. see attached photo to review Got stroppy shift manager over again to show that it wasn’t our fault and now she could refund us and have the soggy food in takeaway boxes back as in that state they weren’t even fit to feed a rabid dog ! Shift manager said it didn’t work that way……… after a ‘healthy debate ‘ with myself she seen sense , stomped back to the till and refunded me! Some customer services courses and general lessons in manners and consideration would be my suggestion for the management however the waiting staff were lovely ! So the long and the short of it is if your kids want tomato sauce after 9pm you’re s@it out of luck!"

It's not that cheap, and the price is the only thing going for it. Smelly carpets. Full of sweary inbreds. Standard spoons.

What we had was good and prompt. However, a side order of onion rings did not turn up (easy mistake to make). But when we spoke to the staff, the manager basically accused us of lying. Voir le carte

What can I say typical spoons with some rough customers. The food was just about hot enough but just average standard. The most off putting thing is the amount of younger lads doing drugs in the toilets. Won’t be rushing back and definitely not at the weekend.

Where to start… for one the manager was a complete melt, defensive rude and clearly didn’t a damn, Vomit all over the stairs with what I can only describe as baking powder to cover it up, no signage to warn customers of the vomit and to avoid.. when I asked”said manager” he replied with it’s called a care package

This hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant however there was no running cold water the whole time we were there we were given some bottled water but the showers were to hot to use which wasn't acceptable and at no time were we given any indication on when this would be rectified . On a hot Easter weekend and going to a family party not being able to take a shower was horrendous Voir le carte

Ordered via app, food arrived then drinks arrived and we're taken away, server re-approached stating the lone was out of order would we like to order another that we did. The drinks reappeared minus the changed order ,had to get it ourselves line fine barrel run out. Pannie ordered had a small amount of chicken in 1 half, piece size 5p coin in 2nd and overcooked. Staff didn't know who was in charge and when someone stepped up, said they came in premade. Took no responsibility offered no replacement and said couldn't give a refund. Bad food, bad service and general bad Weatherspoon company outlook.

Do not visit this Wetherspoons unless you really want to be treated with utter contempt and rudeness. We came here with our family, a normal than larger group so wanted to all sit together. Tables had already been moved prior to sitting down at the tables, some of my family had gone to the bar to get some drinks. A really rude manager came over to me and barked at me very aggressively and very rudely, basically telling me off for moving the tables around. She told me to immediately move them back or there would be consequences. I informed her that I had not moved the tables politely and she barked at me again very aggressively to move them back.
