Tolles Lokal, schöner Innenhof, Ochsenfetzen und Kalbsschnitzel waren sehr lecker

Stopped for lunch just by coincidence on our way to a Christmas Market in a neighboring town and wound up being a terrific find. Excellent meal, beautiful interior, and outstanding wine. We all had the pork steak and it was fantastic. Tried a dry red wine and it turned out to be so good, we stopped at the Henninger winery down the road just to buy a case of it. Well worth the drive from Kaiserslautern just to see the Weinstrasse and the area, but when you throw in a fantastic meal...SCORE!

Beispiel „wann sie sich nicht an diesen Tisch setzen stelle ich ein reserviert Schild darauf und dann haben sie gar keinen Tisch“ übersetzt aus dem Pfälzischen) Essen, nun, wir werden künftig einen Bogen um das Lokal machen. Die Pfifferlinge waren in der Sahnesoße ertrunken, die Weckknödel so lecker, dass die Hälfte übrig blieb, so auch beim Salat. Wohlgemerkt, alles genießbar aber eben nicht wirklich gut. After a hike, the appetite comes. We still have places in the sun in the courtyard. After the map, the owner and cook is a learned butcher that promises good meat quality. So we all took the oxen pigs. On the way a leaf salad with pine nuts, delicious, but the dressing a little sour. The spear consisted of very good beef, perfectly fried medium. There's nothing to blame. Bratkartoffeln a little ****, a longer stay in the pan would have made her well. The herbal butter prepared with Dill, I found delicious. The woman also wanted to taste Kumin, she doesn't like it. The main dinner came when we were in the salad. You can have better time. Price level reasonable, cleanliness is fine. Good wine...
