"The Wall Heath Tavern has had a bit of a chequered history but when we heard that it had recently re-opened we decided to give it a try for lunch. It has been very nicely decorated and we received a warm welcome on arrival. My...husband chose the pie of the week (steak and ale) and I had the fish and chips. Quite a long wait for the food to arrive but we didn't mind as it was so obviously freshly cooked. Portions weren't huge but adequate for lunchtime, and at £6.25 per head, we weren't complaining! All in all, a very pleasant lunch in pleasant surroundings and we will definitely be returning."

Booked for father in laws birthday. Food is lovely and is well priced. Good choice of real ales and good for kids when bouncy castle is up and running.

Arm-Wrestling-Brillen-Brillen-Stimmung Think Oh...we are great. no one who deals with them can keep them going. the first time there in the old the last terrible. no wonder pubs empty.

Visited today with a few friends and their 3 year old. It was a lovely afternoon as there was an animal person on for free for children and adults alike. As well as a bouncy castle and climbing frame for the children. The pub was...quite busy which gave it a really nice atmosphere and the ales were clear and well kept. We ordered the nachos and some brisket fries. The food was fantastic. One member of our group didn't like spice so the staff put the chillies etc separate. I will definitely be going back for more!
