very nice terrace. I had the pasta, it was finally a big part and tasted very good. unfortunately only a vegan dessert, skybeereiscreme. but several vegan dine options at the moment.

we have come in the expectation of a beer garden with beautiful views of the forest lake. that the restaurant also many vegan dishes on the map, which are also really delicious, was the positive surprise of the day

There was only on vegan option at lunch time : a vegan sausage curry with fries... I really hate paying for someone to take sausages out of a package, curry sauce out of a bottle, mix them up and add (frozen) fries to it...

chic restaurant rather the higher price class. now several vegan dishes on the map. For example, a burger and a flame-cake. the atmosphere is also very nice and although situated on the forest and the forest lake you can go by tram to the close and only have to run about 5min there.

The South-West of Germany is well-known for Flammkuchen, yet the normal version of the dish is not vegan here, both veg*s and omnis will be satisfied. The vegan menu is satisfying and well-labelled. Also, the setting next to the lake uppens the food experience here justifying the relatively higher prices. Also has soy milk for coffee.

we were eating in the evening and had a great and colourful selection of vegan food and food. you could choose between various defensive, flaky cake or a tofu burger. in the map you can see which dishes are vegan. the personal is very friendly, open-minded and accommodating. for hot drinks there is soy milk. the location is fantastic with a great terrace directly on the lake.

Waldsee has a really good reputation in Freiburg, it is more gourmet food than anythingelse. I only went there because friends of mine with children were staying on the campsite next to the restaurant. As a vegan i did not expect much, if anything... it is traditional seasonal food, so meat orientated... but to my surprise the waitress knew what vegan was and was positive the chef could do something for me. I got a very nice plate including asparagus... it was a few months ago, i just remembered being impressed by the service and the fact i got something gourmet looking rather than the usual sad looking mixed veg. Do go! Not cheap but worth the experience.

if that were a veggie restaurant, I would give it five stars! the location of this restaurant is simply beautiful. it's on a little lake, so when they sit outside, they have a very nice view. the atmosphere was wonderful. there are several vegan options, such as a tart (flame cake,) a burger, a curry and roast potatoes with a tofu sandwich. my man chose the Tofu burger while I had the tart. we enjoyed eating very much. the tart was made with soy cream, smoked tofu, champignons and roasted swash, and it tasted very good. the tofu burger was also exceptional! after our dinner we walk around the lake, which was a pleasant finish. I recommend this place if you want to leave the hectic free castl...
