"After a long time there was a visit to Waldheim due to a festivity. When I heard it was going there, I wasn't thrilled because the last visit was the total drop. But the team was already rejuvenated when the place was entered, and that seemed strange to me. When it was then said that only recently the tenant changed, I then voted positive again. Unfortunately, not much has been invested at the facility, there are still the old corner benches and chairs available. In the interior device with respect to Decoration was a bit pimped, you just feel more comfortable, as a few accents were set again and again, such as the curtains (red white, the small partition wall with the sayings, the barrel on which the dressings stand. All little things that can make a lot to feel comfortable. For dinner there was nothing a la carte, but some pre-ordered mixed frying with croquettes, hints and vegetables. The meat was served to everyone on his plate, the supplement in large plates, from which everyone could take what he wanted. On the one hand, it was a piece of pork roast and then a table lace. The table top was just wow! Soft, soft, no fibers, so very good. Even the other piece was delicious, even if it does not come from the meat to the table tip. Although these croquettes were not made themselves, we all tasted wonderfully. DIe Spätzle were more handmade, even these were impeccable. For vegetables: Here the opinions were divided. The vegetables consisted of all kinds, such as zucchini, paprika, onions etc., all as it seemed to have been prepared in the pan. The vegetables were good through, so no longer raw, as with the predecessors, only the taste was kind of weird in part it reminded me of these Asian frescoes, it didn't disturb me, but somehow somewhat confusing. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. The services are generally friendly, only occasionally a little smile is not bad but I don't want to overvalue, because everyone has a day that grows through."

The food was good. What I didn't do was packed into a reusable box. No polystyrene or aluminum. Friendly operation.

Wir waren mit Freunden und Kindern für einen gemütlichen Abend hier. Leider war es zu Feucht zum draußen sitzen, denn es ist schön im Grünen gelegen. Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Den Hüttenburger fand ich besonders lecker, aber auch die Tapas waren super. Voir le carte

nach einer zeit im landgasthof ochsen in kohlberg jetzt wieder im land.....wir freuen uns, nicht nur auf die sensationellen "schwäbischen tapas",die grosse tagesmenue auswahl, wahlweise mit tagesspuppe oder salat,sowie eine reichhaltige speisekarte. alles frisch zubereitet und mit einemlächeln serviert !! hier fühlen wir uns wieder sehr wohl......willkommen familie wolf.

The restaurant is in the industrial area. Very idyllic with large meadow right in front of the beer garden. In summer you sit here under big trees. On the terrace you are served very friendly at the table. The card is currently somewhat shrunk due to corona, but great. In addition to classics of German cuisine, there are tapas in regional form, including burgers. We've eaten very well and probably come back.

Das adrett aufgemöbelte Interieur konnte erst mal punkten, im Gegensatz zur noch nicht optimal präsentablen Restaurantterrasse (wo sichs unter Markise und Bäumen wunderbar schattig sitzen lässt).Angesichts der wenigen Gäste an diesem Abend war zwar der Service sehr beflissen,die bestellten Gerichte (Rostbraten mit Brot 14,50 und Saure Nierle mit Bratkartoffeln 10,80) quantitativ und qualitativ in Ordnung, aber auch nicht mehr. Die Stuttgarter Waldheime haben es immerhin zu einem Wikipedia-Eintrag gebracht, und so war das Interesse groß, das wiedereröffnete Waldheim im nahegelegenen Ostfildern zu besuchen, das in diesem Gedenken seit kurzem unter neuer Leitung weitergeführt wird.Regionale Zutaten und saisonal orientierte Speisen dominieren die übersichtliche Speisekarte, was den Anspruch der "Handarbeit" unterstreicht. Die Website weist zudem darauf hin, dass die Küche auf die üblichen Hilfsmittelchen verzichtet, so weit das möglich ist. Die in diesem Kontext hohen Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sowohl die Flädlsuppe, als auch die Kürbis-Karottensuppe schmeckten sehr gut. Die Hauptgerichte, beides "Klassiker"...
