Sehr schönes Ambiente. Personal freundlich aber überfordert, da wenig Personal . Haben schöne Cocktails. Eher für einen Drink als zum Essen geeignet .

Das Walderdorffs werden wir in bester Erinnerung behalten. Das Essen, die Getränke, der Service... einfach top! Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass unsere ergänzende Bitte, die wir in der Reservierung über Open Table gesendet hatten, so liebevoll umgesetzt wurde.

So wurden wir schon lange nicht mehr von dem Personal angemacht. Es war eigentlich nicht so viel los aber die Bedienung denkt wohl das sie Kunde ist. Total vergiften in Ton und Bemerkung. Und dann noch so das es die ganze Terrasse mitgehört hat. Da wir Anstand hatten sind wir wortlos aufgestanden und gegangen. Da war die Bedienung noch erstaunt. we had an aperitif and dinner at the other night in wladerdorffs. the weather was excellent. they can sit outside with the cathedrale directly opposite, under the pappel trees, while the people play petanque. wonderful atmosphere. the employees seem to be jovial law. students were efficient and friendly and fun. the wee is good, eating is very good together we spent 3 hours there with much to see and much fun. a must in trier!

An einem Shoppingnachmittag in Trier, hat uns das "Kaffee mit Kuchen"-Angebot auf der großen Tafel reingelockt. Das Lokal hat etwas muffig gerochen, wahrscheinlich waren am Vorabend viele Gäste da und wurde der Raum nicht gelüftet. Naja, kann ja mal passieren... Es dauerte ziemlich lange, bis mal eine Bedienung zu uns kam. Die Gäste am Tisch neben uns, sahen auch schon ungeduldig aus, da war scheinbar auch noch keine Bedienung vorbeigekommen, obwohl sie schon vor uns da waren. Das Angebot an Kuchen war nur sehr beschränkt, obwohl in der Karte stand, das es außer den Tagekuchen auch noch verschiede andere Sorten Kuchen gibt. Doch dem war leider nicht so. Die Qualität von Kuchen und Kaffee war...

On a sunny day we had an aperitif at the pavement cafe of Walderdorffs on the square in front of the cathedral (‘Domfreihof’ in German). The view on the cathedral, the adjoining Liebfrauenkirche and the historic buildings facing the square was absolutely fantastic. Later we had dinner inside, in the stylish Walderdorffs restaurant. The menu covered a fair range of options. We went for a simple grilled steak and a ribeye with chips. They both looked good, but the ribeye wasn’t nice. It was really chewy and lacking in taste. We weren’t too pleased either with the fact that the side salad we ordered was served on the plate, next to the meat. Service was friendly. Prices seem to be a bit on the... Voir le carte
