Very welcoming, staff could not do enough to make my visit enjoyable. Had a two course meal for £20, cannot beat it for value.

Hadn't been here for years but reviews were good so made last minute booking for 6. Menu had good variety service was excellent. Food arrived in good time with generous sized portions. Take note when the menu suggests to leave room for pudding...definitely worth it. Altogether a lovely relaxes lunch hope to return again soon

Our main courses arrived promptly, and although we had to wait a bit longer for dessert, it wasn't an issue. It allowed our stomachs to settle after the main course. The service was quite fast, and there was a good selection of drinks, including beer on tap. However, the food didn't meet my expectations. The sirloin was tough, and it was overcooked relative to the side dishes we ordered. The extra gravy was cold and there wasn't much of it. As for the Wagyu burger, it wasn't cooked properly either, but it seemed more like it was incorrectly prepared rather than just mine.

The service was reasonably quick, and there was a nice selection of larger beers on tap. However, the food didn't meet my expectations. The sirloin was tough, and we had to ask for the side of prawns that we ordered. The extra gravy was cold and there wasn't much of it. The Wagyu burger wasn't cooked all the way through, which I believe was intentional, but it just wasn't to my taste.
