"Hi all our 3rd Vist here and Nice atmosphere but sadly I wouldn't have written this review had it not been for the very rude manner we were subjected to by the MANAGER and owner. ! 1st the table booked for 7.30 wasnt ready...not a problem but to wait for 20 mins without even a suggestion to wait and have drink. We walked up the high st until ready. The problem started when we ordered a capresse which had meat on. Having already placed the order we ordered again then ordered starters again so wasnt our fault our starters were wrong. The waitresses werent communicating. I was then questioned Gestapo style didyou not read the menu ? I was embarrassied and I apologised as it was my 14 yr old who asked for a capresse. Then when it came back they simply took the meat off rather than prepare it again.. I let that slide again then I was shocked to see our mains arrive luke warm...I noticed that there was a huge party of 30 guest so the manager was in a panicky state. Our food was left waiting for services while the owner took a large drinks order. She came back and said you have to order everything now. Again the main s were sent back. then when the bill came no apology or anything so i spoke up...so rightly I mention that it was disappointing and that they can make things better but she became rude then went around the whole restaurant saying I would not pay which was not true. Only when she became really aggressive I refused to try and calm her. me calming her! ! hoping she would come to her senses.. The family was so upset having just had a celebration to have it ruined by a single person. The waitress were so frendly and even confessed she is short tampered I bet you she will now take this out on her staff. Vile lady with no sence of customer service. I had to apologise for my behaviour to othe⁶r customers as I was left with no choice but to replicate her bad behaviour. I did pay when she finally took one main off...price 13.95 for 3 pieces of avioli. You can understand when that's served luke warm it tastes awful. Well it's up to u, would u except that service? Never have we received such bad service anywhere.. absolute disgrace to and an embarrassment to have a manager to run a restaurant treat customers that way. I suggest stay away. Keith Lawrence"

food was decent however service was awful. we arrived 5 minutes before our booking and told to come back 10 minutes later?! manager was rude and didn’t understand why our food came out cold.

First visit to this gem of an Italian restaurant in Kings Heath. The service was superb, attentive but not pushy. Great quality ingredients and excellent cooking. So glad we found it and will be returning.

Visited 5thMarch 2022. This is a really excellent restaurant. Very helpful when booking and lovely staff. The food presentation was really good. We had Steak's for our main meal and they were all cooked just as we requested. The price's were really good compared to most Italian restaurant's. And the wine certainly didn't break the bank. Really Lovely and accommodating staff and brilliant food. It is a small business, so wait times can be longer when it's full, but still well worth it! Group gatherings can be a bit more difficult as we found the manager hadn't really given our requests to the staff on the day and it was a bit stressful. But the staff who were in still did all they could to help solve the situation and made it a wonderful experience nonetheless!
