Super friendly service. It is a nice and cozy place, quiet atmosphere. We had great coffee and cake! We didn’t have breakfast but it looks really good

Went there with my friend. The price was terribly high, for a bottle of water mean and it did not even taste good. The food was average, and don't even want to talk about the coffee. Bad experience.

We ordered a delicious antipasti and mains and alcoholic drinks between us and came to Very reasonable for very large portions of honest food. Won’t set the world alight with intense flavours that are pushing the envelope...no but it’s a cosy and...pleasant place to eat in the sunshine and service was friendly. Voir le carte

This restaurant is definitely one of the better ones, if not the best in Oderberger Strasse where sometimes you wonder if people only cater to tourists and do not expect you to come back! Very goid suality food at a reasonable price and friendly service....We have been there times and will definitely come back!

A fun place to dine, we were the only ones inside because there were a lot of smokers on the patio. It was Pfifferlinge season (chanterelles), so I had to try the Penne Bauern Art, a pasta dish with the mushrooms and smoked meat. It...involved some very interesting and pleasant flavours. Wait staff was friendly and very attentive.

On our first night in Berlin we were looking for a cosy restaurant serving German food. We stumbled upon Varga Hennecke and it was perfect! The atmosphere was great with a really chilled vibe. The beer was good and the all important schnitzel was excellent....We will definitely make this our first stop again next time we are in the city! Voir le carte

A cool wet night saw us seeking a warm and cozy place to eat. small steps down into the dining room Varga Hennecke we had found our spot. The front of house was very welcoming and the menu well it was truly...hard to choose. The menu changes weekly and it is best described as french influenced german. It isn't heavy dining nor is it ultra fancy fine dining. Well executed!

My friends and I had dinner at Varga Hennecke on Saturday night. The restaurant is small, cosy and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere with great (but not loud) music. The food was delicious we had pasta and fish with salad plus chocolate and...carrot cake and creme caramel not a crumb left. There was some very nice red wine drunk too. The owner/manager was lovely, friendly and helpful. The cost was very reasonable. I would really recommend dinner at Varga Hennecke we loved it.

Good breakfast in my favorite street. The Classic Breakfast is sufficient even for persons with a great appetite. Varga doesn't seem to be as hyped as some of the other places in the neighbourhood. Though relaxed and well visited. Only thing I would point out...is the marmelade... Though homemade quality I would prefer a classic marmelade for a classic breakfast.. This one is made of elderberry and no doubt a treat for many people.. but not in my taste expecting one of the Classics. It was not bad though.... and a little close to orange marmelade. Nice and relaxed owner... Would definitely come back. Voir le carte
