"This village pub is very charming and cozy, with a pleasant garden outside. However, we were the only ones inside on a hot day, so there was no atmosphere. The menu mainly consists of Sunday roasts. The pork dish looked delicious but had a lot of fat. The vegetables were poorly cooked - the carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and beans were so hard they were nearly inedible. It's a shame because the pub itself is lovely. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2"

"This time, we were seated at a few tables pushed together at the back, which isn't typically an issue since we've experienced that setup before. However, they arranged it in an 'L' shape this time, which meant that one person in our group had their back to everyone else. Usually, they position it differently so that the end table stands alone. Additionally, getting to the restroom was quite inconvenient if you were seated in the middle at the back, and one of our friends accidentally knocked over her cocktail. The staff, however, were fantastic; they quickly cleaned the spill and replaced her drink. We also loved the dry ice show that came with our dinner. I found it absolutely mesmerizing and recorded the entire experience! The atmosphere was delightful, and the staff were always friendly and efficient. Please give this place a try! Oh, and the fries are AMAZING!"

"We had our Crafty Monkey works party at The White Horse with Adele tribute and it was a fantastic night. The venue looked amazing and really Christmassy and really got us in the festive mood. The pre-ordering was easy and we all got what we had ordered. Staff were friendly and helpful. Adele was great. Only complaint was we struggled to blow up the balloons on our table but it provided us with fun trying! We managed to smuggle Elf in and he had a whale of a time as you can see in the photos! The White Horse have really worked hard during the pandemic to keep everyone safe and their covid measures were good. It's such a great venue with their marquee area. Great owners who are really personable and helpful! Thank you The White Horse and I hope you don't mind we smuggled Elf in!"

"Where do I start? How about some extra stars! The decor is amazing and tables well spaced from one another. We got the VIP experience last night and that's without a booking. All the staff were amazing. Helpful, funny, considerate and importantly, genuine. The food was delicious and the chicken, moist. Nothing was too oily or too dry and the portion sizes great value. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Just the right amount of care and attention without being intrusive but always being to hand. Thankyou for a wonderful evening to all the team and a big thank you from our Birthday Lad. Even though you didn't know it was his birthday until we'd almost finished the meal, you still managed to make it an extra special night. Parking: Markets Square or surrounding car parks are free after 6pm. There are many spaces and just a few yards from the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff and engaging to the kids. They were made to feel included and part of the dinner, and were spoken to directly for their orders and needs. Some other places can be scared of talking to teens. The staff also called them sir and madam even though they were obviously school age. Nice! "The Moors Walk Cafe, located in the town centre area, offers a large pay and display car park within minutes of the cafe with reasonable parking prices starting from around £1.00. The owner of the cafe is always friendly and welcoming, and the staff quickly offer our usual beverage choices once we are seated. The menu has a good selection of choices, including many healthy options at reasonable prices to accommodate most budgets. The generous portion sizes provide great value for money. The cafe is always busy, but the service is worth the wait. The cheese and mushroom omelette is a standout dish, cooked to perfection with generous portions and well-seasoned. Every dish ordered seems to be of generous size and exceptional value. The breakfast choice is also a generous portion, and the quality of the tea served is top-notch. The staff are friendly and efficient, providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend this cafe, giving it a 10/10 rating."
