Trummelbach - Menu

The restaurant has quite a variety of food on the menu and the taste is also pretty decent around the area.

After climbing around the falls, it was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy a sandwich and cake before our next adventure.

Wir hatten ein paar Mittagessen hier nach dem Besuch der Fälle, das Wetter war immer noch ein bisschen mürrisch. Eine gute Tasse Kaffee und ein Bier eine große war nur ein Franc mehr als ein klein! . . . . . . . . . .

Nach dem Wasserfallbesuch gibt es ein leichtes Mittagessen. Sauberer Platz mit Terrasse und Gartensitzen. Gute Muffins und Kuchen. Es lohnt sich, eine Pause für Ihren Wasserfall besuchen. Der Service ist auch exzellent.

Der hausgemachte Apfelkuchen mir Rahm war einmalig und das Personal äusserst freundlich und kompetent. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist nicht gross. Dafür sieht es frisch und ausgemacht aus. Ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Der Tag, an dem wir die Fälle besuchten, es regnete in Strömen! ! ! Nach dem Wandern waren wir müde, nass und hungrig. Was für eine Freude, in dieses Restaurant zu gehen. Wir hatten Kaffee und den leckersten Apfelkuchen Dessert.

Sitting outside, taking in views of the Alps, enjoying delicious soup, coffee, beer and the most yummy strawberry tart at this lovely restaurant right by the bus stop to Trummelbach Falls was one of those simple pleasures in life.

Nice little cafe with terrace to sit and enjoy after visiting the falls. While this is the ONLY option of an eating establishment right at the falls, the food is relatively good. Homemade desserts, pies, homemade meringue in multiple flavors, muffins, etc. really make this place. Bratwurst and frites are just okay. Soup is good. Few other options for a hot, main meal. Tomato and mozzarella/pesto sandwich is nice. Standard Swiss prices apply. Cafe is CASH ONLY, and the only bank machine/ATM is located a few kilometers down the road in Lauterbruennen. They also accept euros cash. Sit in the garden/terrace outside to enjoy the views. A nice break!

We stopped by to have a lunch before we caught the next bus from the Falls back to Lauterbrunnen. It was not busy at all and we went in and got our food cafeteria style. The food was tasty as we had ordered a couple sandwiches, deserts and drinks; the deserts were very delicious. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful views of the falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. The service inside was average nothing exceptional nor bad and the prices were what you would expect to pay in Switzerland. If you are not hungry, the restaurant is well worth a stop for a desert or a cup of coffee while taking in the dramatic views from around the restaurant. The location is great as it is next to the...
