Excellent food and Service! So nice and such a comfortable setting. Warm and inviting. Our server Nicki was excellent and so nice!

Had a lovely visit with the family (yet again)! Always a fantastic trip at the troubadour. We love it here. A family favourite always.

Visit here each time we come to London for holidays. Always great food and friendly service. Rear courtyard is fabulous on a sunny day.

Do not order any food from this place. The burger was difficult to eat. The soup was cold and insipid. The salad was not fit to feed to hogs. Oh, and the waiter was rude and sullen.

Short walk from our hotel. How lucky we gave this place a try. It looked quite small and they were busy, but greeted us with a smile and found us a table in the back garden. The food was great and the servers were friendly and helpful. Made for a wonderful first meal in London.

We were initially hesitant based on some of the reviews but the location was most convenient for us so we gave it a shot and were more than pleasantly surprised at how great it was. I’m so glad we went! The atmosphere was warm and fun, the food was wonderful, staff super friendly, and the history about the place was a total surprise! We loved the experience and highly recommend the Troubador! My only regret was that they didn’t have any music shows earlier than 8pm starts. For tourists attempting to see and do too much, we just couldn’t stay awake late enough to catch a show!

I came to the Troubadour with my family visiting after having been here once before. I made a reservation for 7:30 pm for the show at 8-8:30 pm on a Sunday night. We got our drinks and food order in about 10 minutes after being seated. We got our drinks promptly but did not receive our food until 2 hours later, at about 10 pm. During the intermission, we were still waiting for our food, and turns out our server forgot to put our order in as well as another table. Despite this, we really enjoyed the show and the entertainment. We were offered 50% off of our food or a free round of drinks. This was a warm and cosy find in a cold and dark London. It’s like something out of a period piece inside and the place was packed and vibrant always a good sign. We hadn’t booked so we were shown into a Bob Dylan themed room which took away from the period vibe a little but was still pleasant. It reminded me of continental pubs I’ve visited somewhat. It was warm and cosy and a romantic place to visit with someone special or in our case quality time between friends. The beer is excellent and the brisket burger is absolutely exquisite. The only issue is the enforced service charge. Even for one beer. If I want to tip I will. Why add it on and not just display the price you’ll charge me?!? Pay...

We had made this booking to see the jazz eat about 2 months in advance. We had not eaten since brunch (12pm) as we wanted to enjoy our dinner (7.30pm). It was a disaster. 1) the starters came out with the mains 2) they forgot a starter 3) they gave my sister a normal burger, with all the toppings when she asked to have it plain (could have had severe allergies) 4) our food was STONE cold.
