"Called off here for something to eat today, walked in and was greeted almost immediately and the lady found us a table straight away despite it being really busy, the service was superb all the way through and the food was excellent. Special thanks to the young lady that took our order and looked after us we didn't get her name but she's from Hoyland Swain she was really friendly and helpful and a credit to the pub. We will definitely be back. Price per person: £10–20"

Fantastic place! Lovely food, the staff are very accommodating (allowing us to tweak certain items for fussy kids! and friendly and it's good value for money. Locally sourced produce. We have eaten here quite a few times. The pub is cosy and the staff friendly and helpful. On this occasion we made the wrong food choice and it was not worth the amount charged.
