"we stayed at the Steigberger hotel loyaldelberg, which is about 1 kilometers from the trattoria mondello. we were very happy to find this restaurant. it is not only Italian eating in the trattoria. it is very authentic Sicilian food: fresh, much crumbled, cooked with love. you really feel for the medium-meeran. we tried the vitello tonato, Sicilian pork from the often grilled fish. simply brilliant. check the tag menu on the board. here you will find dishes that they will not find in a normal Italian restaurant. the red house wine is perfect if they like dry weeping. the desserts? finger lick! when we are back in hamburg, we will surely come back. thanks for the perfect evening! kd (France)"

Bei Ankunft kam uns bereits der Duft der italienischen Küche entgegen! Das Restaurant übersichtlich gemütlich gestaltet… ich freute mich auf einen schönen Abend! Service: Excellent so freundlich aufmerksam Übersichtliche Karte aber alles drauf, was man beim ‚Italiener‘ erwartet. Die Entscheidung war schwer Vorab gab es Brot Kräuterbutter. the trattoria mondello is really a secret tip in poppenbüttel! eat super - tasty, changing weekly map, great lunches and super friendly service! simply great. with great weather the terrace is wonderful.We were there with our little son and we were great supplied. Price-quality ratio is super. the mood familiary and it will be totally addressed to the individual guest. we will be happy to come back soon and very much.The trattoria belongs to the tennis facility poppenbüttel and is therefore very quiet. but it is not a single-local, especially accessible to all... so don't let yourself be deterred.

we have now visited the trattoria for the second time and who have been warmly welcomed again. the owners are attentive and also at full house not to bring out the rest. a greeting from the kitchen with the delicious and absolutely cheap house wine began our journey through the menu. I prefer the day card. there are delicious creative dishes. vitello tonato and the suppe pipo. as the main course fresh pasta and thunfisch steak. for the tasty tiramisu last time was no place. at the weekend it is recommended to reserve a table and I look forward to the next visit. the menu is still long. please keep this!
