"We made an impromptu stop here driving from Neuschwanstein Castle to Munich. The restaurant was busy but we were able to be seated outside. The servers were excellent and very attentive. They were also helpful in ordering as our German is limited. The pizzas were delicious and our picky kids enjoyed them. My baked lasagna was the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!"

Impulsive visit during our way back journey from Schloss Hochschwanstein. The place was fully ocupied and we waited on the terasse(12° C) till an inside table was free. It was worthwile the wait.Very good food, Italian waiters in an Bavarian style restaurant. Great. The food and drinks were really very good. Good enough to take a detour imo.Jules

"We had a memorable dinner here tonight. The wine is delicious and inexpensive: the Pilsner was presented properly and is also reasonable. We split a very large mixed salad with tuna, egg, large beans and all the regular salad fixings. Each one of us had...a large salad left after splitting it. Veal medallions with fresh porcini, fried potatoes and steamed fresh vegetables was one meal, the other was large, fresh calamari with spaghetti in olive oil and garlic. Delicious! Panda coat was an excellent desert. Francesco was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The setting is bright and cheerful. All in all, a memorable Italian meal."

"We have been at that place a few times now. The menu is pretty large and the food ranges from basic to great (specially when you know that you are away from town!). Ask for non-nutrion or lactose or gluten free if you need it, and lots of vegetarian food is offered too. The staff is friendly (hey, they are italians :-)). The Pizza is made ia a wood oven. The wine menu is good too. The restaurant renovated and centrally located. Food is offered 7 days from 11 a.m. to around midnight (also unusual). If you need a table book before you arrive. Parking is close by."

"This paradise is simply beautiful to stay,the view to the mountains, all green,the chapel can be seen, a small playground and a cozy beer garden under three large chestnuts. "at good weather and with a delicious beer ... then this is the right place for you ... actually we wanted to swim in the lake .. but the bath was unfortunately already closed ... alternative we decided to go into the beergarden ..enjoy the...sun on the terrace and a beer and have some Bavarian little things ... the location and the view of the lake and the Alps is fantastic ... unfortunately self service and the service forces seem to be temporary staff .. not really friendly but ok ... the food was quite good, we had Leberkäse and Spare Rips ... but also cakes and other dishes (also vegetarian) are availble... the beer is from the Münchner Hofbräuhaus ... a nice late afternoon in the Alpenblick ... Thank you"
