"What a fantastic retro restaurant! When retro is executed this well, it truly stands out. The starters are delightful—don’t miss the Grilled Sardines. The main courses are outstanding; the Dover Sole is incredibly tender, and even the well-done Calves Liver was wonderfully flavorful. I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it's my parents' favorite spot. The menu is extensive, and the price for a three-course meal is under £20, which is incredible. While some dishes could use a bit more flavor, overall, it's a great experience. There's a car park behind the restaurant if there aren't any spots available on the slip road. It's quite busy during the week as well as on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation. Service: Dine in.
