"Came to this café for afternoon tea with my family on a Sunday. We had booked a table and it was ready for us when we came in. The table and everything on it had been sanitised, it was all very clean. Our food and drinks came straight away. I had the Tuna Melt Toastie and it was very nice, i would recommend. After our food we waited quite a while to order some cakes. However this wasn’t down to the staff attending us but there were a lot of people coming in for coffee takeaways. The staff served the people coming in to take away straight away so they weren’t crowding the shop, adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines. When the cakes did arrive they were very nice. The staff were helpful, friendly and were all wearing masks. We’ve walked past this little café lots of times and if you do the same then i’d recommend going in and trying it out."

"I have never tried Cambodian food, so that this has only made this an unforgettable restaurant trip. it is a really nice caffe that you can see from the cute tablecloths, how the daytime as a teestube doubles (although you also get cabodian food.) it is not cheap, especially for drinks (contrast bunga raya in hazel grove,) but in my view it is good for the quality of eating. we have the early reels and the sriracha chicken wings to start the latter are delightful sticky and sweet and they get 4 big wings to share so big. the early rolls were in order, but I would probably try something else next time, maybe the summer rolls. the nets we thought were really standing by the appetizers as excellent dishes I loved the fish curry (cambodias national court) and bf equally loved his bark carari. if they go on a Friday/Saturday, they should book as it is not so big and pleasantly busy with customers."

"I was visiting family and they insisted that this was a great place to grab lunch (they eat from there regularly). I've not had Lebanese food before so I had trouble identifying some of the dishes but the owners who were serving were so helpful explaining what the dishes were and their level of spice. We got a medium meat tray for me, and a medium vegetarian tray. The flavours! I'm not a big lover of very spicy food and the spicy rice nearly defeated me, but it was worth it! The meat was cooked perfectly, the spices were punchy without being overwhelming, and salads! They were so delicious! And the garlic sauce!! Honestly there aren't enough superlatives. Add to that the fact that they were friendly, cheery and so helpful and I'm just sad I live so far away. I'll definitely be back!"

"This revue is purely about the restaurant as I only dined there. It is a beautifully laid out restaurant, well decorated with linen tablecloths, water jug etc. so first impressions are excellent. The friendliness of the staff compliments this, as does their efficient service. It was a Sunday so we had the traditional Sunday roast (two roast beef and one lamb shank), which matched our expectations, excellent. We had three different deserts, and not one disappointed. The only thing I could pick on, was the fact I felt there should have been more prawns in the prawn cocktail, but that's only because I couldn't fault anything else. Without doubt we will be returning again very soon. Mega plus, bring your own wine with no corkage charge. Also interesting to hear some of the restaurants background from Callum the hotel's general manager, like it when staff come up through the ranks. And if the chef gets to read this loved the Jus, way better than gravy. If you've never been go, as you won't be disappointed."
