Topiary Coffee Shop, Polmont

The cakes were good, but the coffee was too expensive. The staff were very slow.

The service was very slow and a bit disorganised. It was disappointing that any slight changes to the menu were refused! Don't think I'll return.

I had a great lunch at this restaurant for the first time and will definitely be coming back. I tried the coronation chicken ciabatta and it was delicious. Voir le carte

Queue,s. Coffee shop half full but sign saying full up. Major staff problem. The staff that are on look depressed and beaten. I felt sorry I was there adding to their problems.

Seven of us (two in wheelchairs) and two dogs sat outside in the sun for coffee and various food items. The staff were so friendly, patient and helpful and got our complicated order right the first time and all together! Well done and thank you!

Tables have not been cleared in coffee shop. Just about every table had trays of dirty dishes. No one clearing tables at all. Place busy but more and more dirty dishes piling up on tables. Customers moving trays of dirty dishes to other tables so table could be used. Won't be back. Voir le carte

Popped in for lunch on Saturday 25th February. Waited 20 minutes in a small que for toasted sandwich. One unpleasant staff member serving. Salad needed topped up so another staff member appeared and they had a giggly chat before going to replenish the salad. Eventually served however tables had not been cleared. Customers just behind us in the que were still waiting when we were finished our meal which was very basic for the cost. Not welcoming at all! No customer service that would make you go back.

The restaurant is okay, but it doesn't seem to be managed well and the staff appear generally disinterested. I spoke to one employee who mentioned that they are accustomed to receiving complaints about the service and food, and just accept it. If the restaurant was operated more efficiently, it could be very successful, but it still seems to be facing the same problems as it did a year ago. The food was lukewarm and had to be sent back to be reheated. It's disappointing that they continue to struggle with staffing and, as a result, customer satisfaction.

Me and my friend went to the topiary restaurant at klondyke June 28th. We went into the cafe on the side and where served by a lovely young man who was very catering respectful and helpful. Allan I think he said when I asked, we then went through to restaurant to sit, and as we where leaving he was then pulled to help 3 people behind the main bar, he gladly helped the woman who asked, we have seen this woman speak to him and other members of staff before she is rather disrespectful and speaks to them In a horrible demanding way . We are regulars at the coffee shop. We will hopefully be back shortly but until then I hope someone sees this and takes note. Thank you too all the klondyke servers Voir le carte
