"We have visited this restaurant before and have always been satisfied! It was my father's birthday, so we chose to dine at his favorite restaurant. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and escorted to our table by our hosts, who introduced us to our waitress for the day, Lilly. Lilly was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable (I have celiac disease, but felt at ease knowing I was in capable hands). For starters, we enjoyed delicious creamy garlic mushrooms on fresh crusty bread or gluten-free alternatives, tasty pate, onion chutney, and salad dressed beautifully with gluten-free bread. For our main course, we had tender roast beef, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, and vegetables with rich beef gravy. My father opted for the fresh fish alternative, cod loin, which was light and refreshing. The staff checked on us regularly, anticipating and meeting our needs in a timely manner. They even gave biscuits to our dogs, who were tucked under the table - they were exceptionally dog-friendly. We absolutely adore this restaurant!"

"The staff at this pub were incredibly welcoming, and the location is beautiful, complemented by fantastic food. The bar staff and chef were friendly and eager to help, which led us to return for a second visit. I noticed a great variety of vegetarian options on the menu, but I was in the mood for something light during my second trip, so I chose the soup of the day, which was caramelized carrot. My sister pointed out a halloumi salad listed on the website, but it wasn't on the menu. When we asked the chef, he informed us that it wasn't available on the current menu but generously offered to prepare one for me anyway. It turned out to be absolutely delicious and exactly what I wanted. He even brought out a small sample of the carrot soup, and wow, it was incredibly tasty! There were five of us in total, and we were all amazed by the food. We returned empty plates to the kitchen, leaving as five very satisfied customers. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Vegetarian options: A good selection available. "Last week, we dined with a group of eight, and we were thoroughly impressed. The menu is incredibly diverse, featuring a variety of unique dishes that immediately piqued our interest. It also highlights many local seafood and meat options. Three of us tried the mackerel ravioli, which we had never seen before, and it was both delicious and distinctive. We must also give special mention to the lobster risotto; we expected just a small amount of lobster mixed in, but to our surprise, the dish arrived with a whole lobster on top! Alongside that, we enjoyed plenty of mushrooms and calamari as well. Alumchine could very well be the best place to eat in Pembrokeshire. The food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The quality of the food offered is exceptional for the price. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

"We had their delicious Welsh cakes with lots of butter English breakfast tea. Both were perfect. Lady at the counter was very friendly and sweet with her suggestions and offered to fill our water bottles for free. It's very close to the Castle so do check it out specially for the cakes and tea.
