"We arrived and we were shown 2 x tables neither had a window. although ew requested on Friday today is Sunday no message to say it was not available, we asked for a pint of lager shandy and a pint of lager and lime, after waiting 5 mins, we were told they didnt have any lime, we ordered our starters my wife had a prawn cocktail which we perfect, i asked the soup was, and i was told it was Tomotoe and Basil, Turned out to lentil with Hmas i think , tasted vile luke warm with an added ingrediant of a finger nail. We asked to speak to the Manager/Manageress who said that the soup comes delivered to them in packs and they rheat and serve...., so the wife finnished her starter, i was offered another starter which was 3 pieces of spicy southern fri chicken in BBQ sauce , this was fine, then into the que for the Carvery, What a mess, eventually chose the Beef, The Veg was fine although peas were a little short of being warm, the beef was so chewy even the Manergeress agreed that it was not good enough, and apologised and dident charge us, but a 1 pm setting ended upbeing at 2.25 departure with no extra drinks just que eat and go really dissapointed."

Always good Kitchen Staff put out a proper Sunday Lunch and the waiting staff make sure that everything else is in good order.It is a pleasure to dine here.

Had to ask for 2 glasses after waiting to find our server leaning again the wall chatting then had to wait and ask twice for the bill. Nobody seemed to care about customers

I absolutely adore Jackie, she is the best server I have ever had. She truly deserves a raise. My raffle ticket number is 515 (given by the blonde girl with braids and the brunette girl).

Really nice carvery. Good value for money. Helpful staff, but Disabled access not very good. Had to get staff to open a side door to let my husband in, as he could not negotiate the steps.

The restaurant offers excellent food at a fantastic price, with outstanding service from our server, Jackie, and carver, Tom. My children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which was the most important thing to me. 502

We had a lovely visit yesterday to Toby carvery. Naturally being a Sunday, it was very busy so we had to book ahead. Our food was very tasty. Our waitress Jackie had such a lovely bubbly persona. We all enjoyed our meals. Would recommend.

Really friendly and courteous staff lovely food hubby didn’t enjoy the pork so left it but the lady serving us (Jackie) gave him a complimentary ice cream and was full of apologies would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Raffle ticket 438

Friendly and prompt service. Food didn’t disappoint. My booking was for 4.50 and although they were really busy, they got me to my table as soon as we arrived because I asked how long it was going to be so I would know when to take my insulin. They were brilliant and made sure they took me straight to my table!
