"I have recommended this place countless times to friends because I have always had amazing meals here. However, on Wednesday, it was unfortunately the last time we will be going. It wasn't because of the wait, as the burgers are always cooked fresh and worth waiting for. The issue was that we felt we were overcharged for the toppings. I paid £1.50 for just one thin slice of chorizo, which was quite disappointing. The bacon portions were also very small, and the halloumi was underwhelming. In previous visits, the burgers were generously topped, but this time it was disappointing. I had recently organized a team outing here because I had praised it as the best burger spot, but now I will have to find somewhere else as I don't want them to waste money on such small portions of toppings."

Visited earlier with my boyfriend who hadn't been before and it was brill! He enjoyed every bite and the idea of naming your burger is genius such a good laugh! Would highly recommend this place, trying to think who to take next!

Excellent and tasty food, some things on the menu were different to what you'd normally see so it was a nice change. I love the idea of making a burger exactly how you want it. The staff were happy and friendly too. Quirky decor and a very relaxed atmosphere. A great little place.

amazing evening at time beef last night ... we were a big party of 12 and the staff could not have been more helpful. cocktails were beautiful (may definitely recommend the mojito royales! and the burgers were the best we ever had in cardiff or elsewhere. can't wait to go back soon!

delicious food that is inexpensive, really friendly and helpful staff and a relaxed and chilled atmosphere, what is not to like? Nice to construct a burger to its exact specifications and then find that it is made with the best quality ingredients. we have enjoyed our experience immensely and will definitely return!

I sat today and I have to say I was amazed at the change! the time was always the place to be, but time and beef went on this step! my 2 sheep burger was fantastic with Halomi cheese (they even conjure it so? the chips were amazing and not just that the service was great. this place is a real 10/10 well made steve and the rest of the band.
