Tiggis St Annes - Menu

Great place to eat first time there and food was great. Service was excellent and the owner was on the floor helping. Asking how meal was. Will be back.

The meal was nice but I got a 60 pound parking fine for parking in their car park which turned out expensive in the end ,and never again as I went twice that week so 2 parking tickets

The restaurant was very crowded and noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation at our table of four. The waiter seemed disinterested and almost threw plates on the table, only showing enthusiasm when presenting the bill.

I went to this restaurant yesterday with my partner and a friend. The food was amazing and it was our second visit. Everything was fantastic, the cocktails were delicious. Our server, Millie, was great. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Food is fair, inexpensive. Really needs some healthier options including salads etc. Service was attentive and pleasant. Place is not the easiest spot to find, it is well back from the kerb, when you get inside it’s a hard right and downstairs to the restaurant. It feels dead, could do with some life.

Party of four, had chicken livers to start, livers were tasty but hardly any sauce and lacked seasoning, also two of us had the Beef rib, was perfectly cooked, but the mash was under seasoned and dry and one of got mushrooms with it and one without asked but no explanation, for a friday evening wasn't overly busy and upstairs in darkness, used to be alot better unfortunately.

We went to Tiggis for a Family Birthday lunch and I can't believe I hadn't heard about this amazing restaurant before. The atmosphere, the food, the service, and the value for money were all outstanding. The attention to detail from the moment you walk in is flawless, even with how busy it was. The food was exceptional, according to all 6 of us who had different dishes. Thank you so much for making it a fantastic day.

Had a delicious meal here on Sat night with my husband. The food was great and the place was busy and had lots of atmosphere. Mr Romano who has had this place for 42 years was so charming and lovely you could see how proud he is of his establishment. It really does feel like a family run place. I had the seafood pasta which was delicious and my husband's pizza was a good size and very tasty. Highly recommended if you are looking to eat well in this neighbourhood.

On a business trip and with a colleague who had dined here before and told me how good it was. He was not wrong ! We both chose from the specials menu and I had the pork belly with pear and black pudding. It was hot and full of flavour. The pork was perfectly cooked and the combination of the pear and black pudding made for some totally different flavours on each bite. Next was a swordfish steak with mussels, samphire and njuda butter. The steak almost melted but still had a good texture, the mussels were perfect and the samphire gave just a hint of salt. The njuda which could have overpowered it all was a lovely background note and complimented everything perfectly. The staff were attentive...
