Very good restaurant, a treat. One week since I was in Scotland and I went to a restaurant and now I can say that it was delicious

The food was below average, there was no atmosphere and the service was lacking. Nice views, price was fairly standard but disappointing overall.

It was ok, but many better in area. They showed no tables available. We said we 'd wait the 30-40 minutes and after about 5 minutes we were called. At least 4 other tables totally empty. Voir le carte

We ordered fish and chips, salmon, potato tart, and fresh cooked vegetables. We also had an apple crumble with ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious and all dishes were prepared well. The portions were very generous.

As a party of three we had a meal here. I had venison steak, when it arrived it didn't look freshly cooked, was dry and resembled shoe leather. The veg was tasteless, potatoes under cooked and very few. My mother had game pie which was...

The food and service were quite good and ok value for the money. My salad was a bit over run with dressing but I enjoyed the burger. The fish my daughter and partner had was delicious and very fresh. Too many chips/fries, but that seems... Voir le carte

We went in on a Sunday for a bit of lunch and were quite disappointed. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and free wifi is always a bonus in the Highlands when mobile signals are scarce, but we were quite disappointed with the standard of the food. It was uninspiring and not much care had been put into the presentation! I could have made it at home cheaper, and presented it much better!

For a restaurant to have such a prime location in portree, they obviously just rely on hotel accommodation. There is a reason why it is 29th best food from 31. How bad can 30 and 31 be? 6 of us rudely interrupted the staff on arrival from their private conversation to be shown to our table. Prices were not too bad but food quality and quantity were poor. I would have thought that with reviews being consistently bad that management would have done something over the years to help their business.

There are only two stars here because I don't like being ripped off. This restaurant apparently believes that tourists are stupid, delirious zombies and don't know anything. We ordered 1/2 grilled lobster (as described on the menu) and got 5 scampis, for a price of almost 40 euros! Adequate for half a lobster, but not for 5 Sampis. In response to our complaint, shrug and ignore. Luckily we had mussels for starters which were good. What would the lobster have tasted like?! My conclusion: You should ignore such fools.
