"Good overall though not sure the score will reflect. Food was good, well seasoned and portioned service was good but got slower as the meal day worn on (we were perhaps the last of the lunch time eaters) two adult main meals, two kids meals, 3 soft drinks and 1 large glass of wine, 2 deserts and 2 coffees. I’d expect to pay around 60 maybe 70. Bill including service came to nearer 90 needless to say that’s quite a lot for a small family outing at least more than I’d anticipated. Ah well for around the 50/60 mark they get a repeat customer, a little too expensive for what it was, nice but pricey."

Had a really lovely Christmas lunch and dessert here with friends. Service was great, couldn’t fault it.

Fantastic cream tea. 2 huge fruit scones, plenty of cream and jam and a nice pot of tea. Overall excellent.

We would recommend if not a special occasion. It was our anniversary lunch and the place was rather shabby re decor and the food was average for the price. Voir le carte

This restaurant features a stunning view and a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed a late lunch, and the food was excellent. The portions were not overly large, and some dishes came with just a selection of sweet greens. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely delicious!

Unfortunately, we were not impressed with our experience. It was very loud, and when we requested a table in a quieter area by the windows, we were told that those tables were unavailable, even though one remained empty during our visit. My fish was soft and had an unpleasant, muddy taste. The roast beef was thickly sliced and didn't look appealing. We weren't asked how we wanted our beef cooked, and it ended up being quite good. The tables were placed too closely together, although ours wasn't too cramped. There was also a lack of good beer options. Overall, it was very disappointing.
