"I shared the flatbread and hummus with someone for starter and it was ok, more hummus than there was bread and crudites. Then for main I had the aubergine ‘steak’ which was so small! It came with the tiniest bit of couscous to go with it and I was pretty disappointed, especially as it was almost a tenner! The only other vegan main option was vegetable curry, I wish I tried that instead. Overall it tasted nice but it’s really overpriced here. Only thing I would recommend are their cocktails and its a nice place."

the afternoon was fab, but open booking doesn't allow them to say afternoon tee, so we almost didn't get one!

We absolutely love the Bush. Staff are lovely. Our only thought would be the scones were possibly shop bought but this didn’t distract from a wonderful afternoon tea.

They are in the middle of renovating so not a great time to eat there maybe. However booked the restaurant for a nice meal out was shown to a table in the lounge to eat. Not the nice evening meal out I had expected when I booked. Voir le carte

we went to Sunday dinner and had a nice meal. the ordered brat and the entire veg was served to the table so that we share. eat a lot, huge yorkshire puddings. the personal was all very attentive beautiful. open fires really helped us warm up. I would recommend that if they were looking for a relaxed Sunday dinner in a very nice location.

Absolutely freezing in the restaurant and, despite keep closing the entrance door, staff kept propping it open? We understand that it's an old building and the many french doors to the grounds along one wall are single glazed, but it truly was too cold for dining. Even the Maitre d had a jumper on (he was exceptional by the way, welcoming and kind nothing he could do about the temperature). Decor, staff team, food, all great just don't go when it's cold outside.
