This is a very special venue for that special occasion in a beautiful room within a spectacular hotel. The food is beautifully cooked, presented and served.

Ate here last December and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the wine was superb. Its not a cheap, but worth every penny for a special occasion

Went with a number of collegues for a lunch time meeting. The staff are very friendly. The meal was fine but there was nowhere near enough vegatables and we had nearly finished our meal before some more arrived. I am sure this will improve before our next meeting. Voir le carte

I booked a birthday celebration at Wordsworth for a Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, our experience was not ideal. We had to wait a long time to be seated, our mains arrived cold, and we were served incorrect desserts. It took over three hours to complete three courses. Although our bill was reduced due to the poor service and food, I would have preferred to pay full price for a better experience. I will not be returning for lunch in the future.

The appetizers were enjoyable, except for the stale bread roll that was replaced with a microwaved one. My wife's sea bream was satisfactory, but my roast beef was tough and tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, the meal was not worth the high price we paid. The service was great, but the experience fell short of our expectations for a costly restaurant. We will not be returning anytime soon.

My 3 friends and I had a wonderful Christmas meal last Thursday.. We were very impressed with the main course choices. 3 meat options, 2 fish and 2 vegetarian at £38 per head. (Much better than Rushton Hall which is £55 per head) All courses were excellent and the price included tea or coffee and petit fours. the service was excellent and the restaurant itself is very impressive. It has been a while since our last visit to Kilworth House, but we decided it was time to give it another try. And we were certainly not disappointed - the food at The Wordsworth was absolutely amazing! Having dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, I must say that this one would fit right in. The service was excellent and we felt very well taken care of. My only suggestion would be to add more options to the menu, as there were only 3 choices for each course. It was also a bit quiet in the restaurant, but I suppose that's expected in January. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We all ordered 3 courses, which started with a nice treat of a fish and chips aperitif which was small pieces of fish on a light potato crisp and deep fried ham hock different to the starter This was served on a bed of hot stones. We tried the lobster, which was exquisite, the ham hock and duck liver parfait, For main course we went of the Rib of Beef (could have done with more as it was so good) and Partridge. Pistachio soufflé and a nice selection of cheese and biscuits. This is clearly one of the best restaurants in the area so don't be misled by the rating system within TripAdvisor as most people will know the Orangery restaurant is in the same hotel but this is the best and most expensi...

Have visited before earlier this year in the spring and certainly still impressive from the moment you enter the driveway to the grounds. Restaurant: Originally tried to book for the Orangery but unfortunately it was reserved for a private function. We found the Wordsworth suite equally as comfortable with some lovely original features and tastefully set out. Food: As expected, very very good. My starter was the Smoked Haddock Rarebit, Main Pork Fillet wrapped in parma Ham, Dessert Blackberry and quince charlotte. All were meticulously presented, delicious and of a very high standard.
